Extremely helpful staff, fresh well made food, definitely will be back!

Superb place with stunning views over Nidderdale and many other Yorkshire Dales. I only called in for a tea and toasted teacake but was pleasantly surprised, will definitely call again.🙂🤟👍

We had a super lunch; warm quiche and homemade coleslaw and salad with dressing, dressed with a little fruit. Lentil and tomato soup with a hunk of bread and a pork pie. The food, service and the barn was delightful. The peacock in the garden a bonus. The prices are steep. With no drinks-over £17. It seems every place you go, a sandwich or a bowl of soup is £8. But a fab place if you are happy to pay. First class( the cakes looked amazing!)

After a lovely walk (AA Walks: The Mines of Greenhow and Bewerley Moor) we were ready for something nice to drink and eat. Steak Pie, Chips and Peas was the perfect answer. What an amazing place this is. So pleased to have found it.

We went for a gale force windy walk up to the Cut and surrounding area after. Went to this cafe afterwards for some lunch. It wasn’t busy at this time of year. Had an amazing lunch of what was advertised as quiche and homemade coleslaw and chutney. Much better than that! The quiche was delicious, the homemade coleslaw was homemade coleslaw but the chutney and salad were the show stoppers in our opinion. I’ve never thought of putting blueberries in a salad! Anyway, the coffee was good. We sat at the window so we could look at the view of where we’d just walked. As we ate the view quickly disappeared. The weather up there changes quickly. We’re very grateful to be inside.

Absolutely fabulous Food and Service. Burger was really good portion, had the scone as well but just couldn't finish it. Such friendly staff. Very satisfied.

Lovely homemade food in a barn on the end of a working farm. Friendly service, lovely coffee and an amazing view over the valley from the outdoor seats at the back.

They were shut! Supposed to be open, according to both themselves and to Google Maps. Very disappointing as had come a fair way. I do dispute their claim though to "best view in North Yorkshire" - that accolade goes to the nearby wondrous Coldstones Cut. And that was open and (albeit honesty boxes) free.

Words cannot describe the care and thought put into the food and drink here. What an experience, I shall definitely be bringing the lads here again. Thankyou so very much.
