Had a lovely time,well run family business with great food and polite helpful staff.

Popped in after a late trip back. Plenty of space and everything was clean and tidy. Bar staff were lovely too. The food was really good. Plenty of parking, well worth popping in if you are passing

Tried this venue with friends when our first choice turned out to be closed. It's situated right beside the A65 so you'll need transport, but there's plenty of parking. Inside it's spacious, light and airy. The menu is not extensive but offers some interesting options and the quality was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient although most tables were occupied and it is obviously a popular venue. It's quite remote but we'll worth a visit if you happen to be in the area

Excellent venue to have dinner with wonderful choice on the menu. The food came promptly and the portion size was great at the price.4 out of 5 stars because when booking a table online, it doesn't differentiate between restaurant and bar tables, so we had to request a restaurant table at the door and had a short wait.

Nice clean room. Good breakfasts and evening meals and friendly staff. Excellent walking nearby.

Fabulous place. Lovely location. Just had a two-night stay in lovely clean warm rooms. All the staff were very friendly and obliging. Fantastic food and good food. We couldn’t have asked for more. Hospitality at it’s very best! Highly recommended.

I booked here for my dads big birthday, from the first phone call, Lyn couldn’t do enough to accommodate us, friendly, helpful, responded quickly to all my emails, regarding food and timings,On the night, all the staff was very friendly and welcoming, had set the table up beautifully,The food was absolutely beautiful, I had the pate, slow braised beef wellington and the sticky toffee pudding, I could not fault a single thing, the waiting on staff was brilliant and attentive,Thank you to each and everyone of you for being part of making my dads birthday such a wonderful one.

Lovely Yorkshire pub, very busy for a Tuesday night but the local dominoes were on. Good selection of ales were available. Full Yorkshire breakfast was also excellent with local produce. View from room 7.

Great welcome, extremely pleasant staff. Clean and tidy. The food was tasty and well presented we all thoroughly enjoyed it. My lamb was so tasty and the veg cooked properly. We hope to return in the New Year and have no hesitation in recommending the Craven Arms.

Wow, just wow. Lovely location, absolutely gorgeous food. We had Sunday lunch, shared starters of Salt & pepper whitebait and Crispy halloumi which were absolutely divine. Followed by Slow braised lamb shoulder and Roast loin of pork which were just perfect. Generous portions meant that we couldn't squeeze in a pudding.The staff were really friendly and accommodating [we arrived an hour early for our meal]Very highly recommended and when we are in the area we will be back.
