Cream tea here was with the best scone (tried a few places in the dales) but alas, no clotted cream. Served with whipped cream. All other scones fell apart when trying to put jam or clotted cream on. But here it was pres parfait... clotted cream needed !!! 😋

Had lunch at this café while on a day trip. It's a quirky old place dating from 1663, said to be the oldest café in England. Very pleasant inside with little pictures of local landscapes on the walls. I managed to get a table by the window overlooking the market square. The staff were courteous and efficient and although the café was very busy, service was surprisingly quick. They serve good traditional homemade food that includes sandwiches, soup, breakfasts and hot meals. Was very satisfied with my ploughman's lunch, it was well presented, everything on the plate was fresh and portions were generous. The pot of tea was nice and hot. They also have a takeaway and a lovely bakery where you can buy not only sweet and savoury baked goodies but also chutneys, preserves and a few gifts. Prices were very reasonable too. Bought a nice cake to take home. Would definitely come here again.

As always excellent food. Can get very busy.

The coffee and food were ok. The service was very slow and there seemed to be a lot of confusion with staff bringing out wrong dishes to wrong tables. It took way too long to be served, but other than that it was just ok.

We called today while on a short visit we had tea fruit teacake and a strawberry tart they were beautiful the service was really good. We then when into the shop where we bought various pies and cakes they were reasonably priced we will return sometime in the future.

I have been eating in the naked man cafe for 60 years. First as a child with my grandmother when I lived in settle. for the last 40 years I come up to settle 3 days each month and without fail eat each day in the naked man cafe. Never again. I will drink tea there but not eat. Basically I looked forward to the delicious bread. Also it seemed reasonably priced. I’ve noticeded in the last year or two that the bread has become more and More like cardboard and totally tasteless. My family members say the same and have stopped buying bread in the bakery. But most of all the price increase is totally unacceptable. Today I had my usual cheese and pickle baguette. This was both smaller than before and more expensive - £6.90 for a 5 in baguette with less cheese than usual. No garnish. This is far more than London prices or the price of any other cheese sandwich I’ve eaten anywhere ever. I e given 2 stars cos it’s central and the pot of tea is good - so long as you ask for an additional tea bag. .

It's always a lovely suprise when you turn over your saucer and find that the establishment you're eating in uses Churchill China. The cafe didn't disappoint on this front and when they give you the best quality crockery you know you're in safe catering hands.

Nice food, quick service, alright prices. Parking can be a bit tricky and they had run out of the discs when we were there but had no issues anyway. Bacon rolls were great and so was the soup of the day.. recommend getting desert from the bakery, the bakery looked amazing and the food was great

We absolutely loved it, quirky Settle, a giggle at giggleswick, a fun day out. Nice breakfast tea & latte, flapjack heaven. Friendly staff in Ye Olde Naked Man.

Fantastic coffee, smoothies, pasties and cakes. Lovely seating area outside too. Do not fail to visit if you're in Settle (which is also a lovely place!).
