Aagrah in Doncaster

Nice food and variety. Despite a lot of crowd, hotel management did well to manage everything. Food was excellent and staff was courteous. Reasonable waiting time.

Absolutely perfect 😍 the food was beyond perfect and the service was very quick compared to other restaurants. The waiters are very quick with bringing out food as they hold so much at once! It's a great place to go and I 100% recommend!

Every time we visit we get a great welcome, all staff are real friendly, and food to a very high standard. A nice pleasant atmosphere a cold beer, brilliant place.

Not had the best of experiences tonight. Been coming to this restaurant for over 20yrs. Tonight it was crowded, nosy and felt a bit like a cattle market. We had the buffet tonight which provided the quality we are used to but it was quite cold. The deserts were very basic ie, sponge cake and fruit and jelly. We didn’t expect a great deal from the desert, we didn’t visit to focus on deserts but I little more choice would have been nice. The thing I found most disappointing was the atmosphere and service. It felt very rushed. It was also very cold in the restaurant. The special atmosphere of Aagrah from the past has disappeared. I ordered a English tea with my desert. It was cold when I finally got it and it was served with hot milk. All in all, will visit again but will go on what could be a quieter night.

Been a few times now. Always busy which a good sign for any restaurant. My advice is that it is milder spicing so always go up a spice level here- I find jalfrezi right spice for me here compared to usual balti. The special biryani is also amazing. Large portion sizes too.The pickle tray brilliant as was the peshwari naan.

Food was absolutely amazing, freshly cooked and so full of flavour. Extremely large portions. Would highly recommend by far the best Indian we've ever had. Staff were friendly and displayed just the right amount of attentiveness. Can't wait to go again. 10/10

Great food, very good efficient service. Good to see in the current climate. Not the cheapest but worth every penny.

The best Indian in Doncaster in my opinion. I've been for years now and it's never dipped in quality. Always helpful and friendly staff, who take your order quickly. The food is fresh and so tasty, the portions are usually quite large which I like as I get to take some home after! A bit more pricey than some Indians but worth it 100%. Its so great to see they've updated the menu with a vegan section too, makes it a lot easier for me. Definitely a local favourite, highly recommend 👌

Always a pleasure and a hit when we go here. The chicken Karahi curry, lamb Karahi curry and the starter platter is always delicious. Brilliant service and food and atmosphere 👌 oh and noooot to mention the Shai halwa... Off this planet!!!!

There is plenty of parting but it does fill up easily when busy!. The place looks well inside will a recent addition of a booth with disinfectant vapour in, which was comforting. The staff was very friendly and the food was great, I had a punjabi masala which was fab definitely will go again.
