Balti palace in Doncaster

My family & myself love this place the food is amazing and the staff are always so friendly can't wait to return again soon :)

There were 16 of us for an 18th birthday. The main restaurant was lovely but they put us in a back room which was just awful! When I asked if I could order starters first - the answer was no because they were too busy! So we had to then wait for others to choose theirs mains to order everything together! Starters came in good time. Mains came in good time and all correct but the food was "just warm", I expect restaurant food to be hot....not impressed at all. There were wasted food. After the waiters attitude I wasn't going to complain, we just accepted it. I'm not one to cause a big fuss really. Drinks are quite expensive too and we had to ask for water and glasses on our tables, they're not on as standard. I won't be returning I'm afraid. Was upsetting being my sons 18th birthday.

Not authenticate whatsoever. Vegetable curry contained diced carrot, peas and sweetcorn as if it had just come out of a frozen veg bag from Morrisons. The Jalfrezi was not served with birds eye chili but with one of the pickled ones, like you get in a doner kebab - full of vinegar. Stay away if you like authentic curries.

went to the Balti Palace for the third time last night with the wife and twoof our friends. The food was absolutely wonderful and the head waiter,Mr Hussain so pleasant and helpful. The food is cooked fresh and my wife,who is allergic to garlic had chicken jalfrezi, though she could have hadanything on the menu cooked without garlic, unlike many Indian restaurantsthat we have gone to where they cook a basic curry sauce that covers mostthings on the menu. This is the best Indian restaurant we have been to in a long time and will be going back again

In my opinion probably the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The staff are so friendly and helpful, it’s always amazing food can’t wait to return.

Service was slow, over 2 hours from booking to receiving mains ! 40 minutes from seating to actually someone coming to take any order for either drinks or food… to round the night off a bill of £330 pounds when questioned we was actually OVER charged by £110 .. myself having to prove that I’d already paid for drinks via card that they had added to the bill.. upon leaving it appeared another table was having the same issue !!!In response to the owners reply I can confirm that our booking was made Tuesday 1st feb and the booking was for 19.30 on the 5th allowing plenty of notice,

Just been for a meal tonight lovely welcome when we went in all staff very nice been to a few Indian restaurant in my time but I never enjoy them as much as the balti palace 5 stars from me

Not usually a fan of Indian food but this place was absolutely wonderful. The food was excellent as were the staff who were brilliant. Xx

Absolutely fantastic food, service , value for money, I will be going back very soon. Much better than other Indian restaurants in and around Doncaster 👍

Fantastic value on a Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Sunday evening. 6pm to 9pm. 5 courses for £11.95 WOW!The food was excellent, no issues. The only gripe was when the server fetched the menu, he didn't fetch the special offer leaflet until you asked him if they still do the 5 course special. But that being said, food was brill.
