Bombay Restaurant in Doncaster

Ordered online. No mention of a maximum delivery distance despite it being only 3 miles, placed my order which payment was taken for only to be notified we was too far away.Money wont be refunded for 3 days aparently and no food is to be delivered.Wasnt interested in resolving the issue despite me wanting to come collect, they informed me i would have to pay again.Terrible system, terrible service, terrible manners.

I can only presume the restaurant has changed hands recently as things have definitely gone downhill. Food was very salty and a far cry from what it once was.

The second time ordering from this takeaway. The first time the chicken wasnt cooked and they didn't provide the rice we ordered. We collected and had to go back to ensure we weren't waiting longer still to eat. This time around the food was way below standard and although it was complete the chicken looked like it was out of a tin. The korma had very little flavour and the rice was not pilau. It was overall very poor and we won't be ordering again. This restraunt must be extremely unpredictable in its ability to produce a decent Indian, some reviews are really good, some really poor. I guess we are unlucky perhaps but won't take that gamble again....

Possibly the worst Indian I've ever had. This place was amazing a few years ago, has definitely changed owners since. Honestly don't bother it was borderline disgusting.

Waited an age for my food and the party I was with. I was going to work on nights so I had to ask for mine as a takeaway I still waited ages.When I got to open my food I have had much better it wasn't anything extraordinary, and they had forgotten the rice.Certainly the place, food, and service did not live up to the reputation it has maybe its living on the reputation now and can't cope with large parties, I arrived at 6 table for 6.30 got food and had to leave 8.30 with items of my order missing

Saw good reviews for this restaurant take away. Ordered takeaway for two people. Had to wait about 20 minutes which was OK. When we got food back to hotel,what a disappointment?Ordered onion bhaji's to start - we got two onion rings in almost raw batter. Mixed kebabs consisted of one Seekh Kebab and a pile of something grey and liquid.The main course were Handi (meat?) - it looked and tasted "GRAY" nothing else to be said. Other main course was Hyderabadi lamb. Looked and tasted exactly like the Handi meat same colour, GRAY and same taste - GRAY and same consistency. We had a nan bread - OK and Pilau rice which was more like egg fried rice but gray.Was it that the pots were not clean and worn out or the cooks did not know the menu and were making it up. I don't know.What i do know though is it was the worst Indian take away i have ever had.This is by far THE WORST Indian food outlet in Doncaster or anywhere I have ever had food from, bar none

First time we've been here, the food was absolutely beautiful! Really enjoyed it. Would definitely return.

Seen excellent reviews for restaurant. But our takeaway tonight was very disappointing. Wrong rice dishes, missing chicken dish & food was cold. Ended up in the bin!!

As always great food and service from a friendly restaurant.
