Great carvery good price too small park so kids can play

Called for Sunday carvery today staff were the only good thing about it sadly Food was cold and tasteless a complete waste of money will not recomend it at all

Such a lovely homely pub and yummy food, hope to visit again when I'm back in Donny

First time there was really nice food nothing was too much trouble for staff, they even made a log fire as it was a bit cold, it soon warmed up. Also had a lovely atmosphere, will definitely go again.

Good food, attentive staff and good value for money. Would recommend.

First time at this lovely place, but most certainly won't be the last!!Food was gorgeous - great choice ( in fact spoilt for choice!) Beautifully presented and cooked perfectly.Really friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Great experience.

Rang to see if they were open for food and our call was answered by a lovely young lady saying the kitchen was open until 8pm.When we arrived we were greeted by the same young lady, we sat down and perused the menu which had a really good variety and selection of different dishes all at a reasonable price.The lady took our order and we didn't have to wait long before our food was brought out.Both our starters and main course were cooked fresh and to perfection and were really tasty, The staff were lovely and came a few times to check everything was ok with the food,it's been a few years since I was last at Burghwallis but will be venturing back very soon

Fab country pub. Food excellent. We always have kids parties ect here.the buffet are wonderful. 😁👍

Superb food, very relaxed atmosphere even with social distancing in place. Definitely going back, great value for money. Staff extremely friendly, even the Landlady's dog came to say hello. Highly recommended

We visited last night for the first time and stopped overnight in the car park in our motorhome. The Burghwallis is a really lovely pub with great hosts, very nice reasonably priced food and laid out brilliantly for social distancing, while still keeping the atmosphere of a pub. Felt very safe both inside and overnight in the car park. We'll definitely go back there
