Mixed experienceNice place for a meal but music was so loud we had to shout across the table at each other even after asking for it to be turned down twice. I understand in the bar but not the dining area.Service was ok, half of the staff dead polite and attentive others rude or too busy flirting with the chef's to do their jobFood was ok , some of our meals were amazing , other very average , the steak was tasteless.Overall you'd be happy paying £20 a head not £50

Very nice setting, excellent freshly cooked food and friendly and courteous staff.

Came here last night with my partner for our anniversary and the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We both had chicken to start and a steak for our main. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. 100% worth the 2 hour drive from Birmingham! Next time we’ll make sure to bring enough room for dessert.Staff were amazing too, attentive, polite and just generally lovely!

Really quiet. Food was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff.

Brilliant food but speed of service was quite slow. But due to the quality of the food I would definitely return.

Had breakfast there. What a plate full. All hot great coffee. Reasonably priced good service. Lovely clean place. Tables outside so you can watch the world go by

We ordered two vegan burgers, both were solid, nice burger bread, good veggie patty and classic toppings. But the star of the night: the big massive chips. They were great!

Fantastic fillet steak and chunky chips. Great pudding too although limited pudding choice as waiting for new supplies. Was just after Christmas so could be the reason why

Went for Father’s Day. Meal was excellent. Step mum had salmon cooked exactly how she liked it. Dad had a platter that looked phenomenal and I had a cracking fillet steak. So tender, it was incredible. You could tell everything was cooked and made fresh. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the head chef even got involved for some banter between cooking courses. Would definitely go back.
