Crown Inn in Doncaster

Quite simply the best carvery I've had in years.

Excellent food and service. Booked a table for two last minute but The Crown was able to accommodate us as it was only 6pm. We both had the homemade steak pie (with chips and mushy peas). Very generous portions.We'll certainly be going back as there are lots of other dishes to choose from on the menu!Highly recommendable.

Had passed it but never been. Went for a wake and the food they put on was excellent. Several people said they went regularly and recommended the steak. Will give it a go soon

Enjoyed a very tasty steak pie with chips and mushy peas, large portion though was a little too much. Friendly bar/waiting staff

Birthday meal for 16 people. Had the Sunday lunch carvery. A lovely meal with plenty of choice. All veg freshly cooked and tasty roast meats. Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant food all tasty went for the carvery today had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream for afters 2 half orange juice tasted lovely meat soft massive Yorkshire puddings and real veg beautiful will come again
