Fortune Restaurant in Doncaster

Ordered through Just Eat today and the restaurant called as the food arrived asking for more money for the delivery.

We didn't eat, we ordered on just eat. The food was well presented and very tasty. Not too greasy like some take a way food's. Enjoyed would order there again

Absolutely cannot fault the food. Went in on a Sunday evening for the 'all you can eat' menu. The food was all cooked fresh, presented well and it was very tasty. The restaurant area was cold but had it been busier at the time we visited this may not have been the case.Excellent value for money.

Came back to having take aways from here after a few years of staying away... on the whole fine, until this weekend when I changed my choice and it wasn't as good.... the beef was inedible !! which says something after 7 pints... It can often be quiet inside but the take away drivers are always busy.. the building outside needs tidying up....

Most of the starters were very nice although the prawn toast was a bit stodgy, nicest thing we had was the pork lettuce puff. Mains were average at best and really not very warm. We did order from the buffet menu but I don't imagine anything ordered from the standard menu would have been any better. Although we did get a table at short notice on a Saturday night the room was freezing and the service left a lot to be desired.

Just got back from a lovely meal here, always beautiful food. We did the all you can eat deal but cooked fresh to order-would definitely reccomend! Service was great and they seem to be gradually modernising/redecorating.

Recently used this lovely restaurant to buy take away food. The service was excellent and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. The portions are excellent and are likely to satisfy even the hungriest person. Parking is limited but available within an enclosed courtyard setting. I intend to use this place again before we go home and would honestly suggest that you give it a try.

Food was nice and service was really good. Interior could do with a bit of money spending on it and also there was no central heating, just a couple of portable heaters and as it's 1 degree outside, it was quite cold and so had to leave coat on to eat. Would however revisit.

Celebrated my 40th here just now! Shocking! I have been here many times and had takeaway before and it was always good! However tonight I was let down. Booked a table of 18, starters were fine but then for main, they took one tables order and didn't take the others until the first tables food had come. And the mains were awful, bland and tasteless. We left loads and nobody asked why. We paid reluctantly and didn't tip. Gave feedback and was greeted with an argument. I won't be returning. Up to you if you want to risk it but I would avoid if you want good service.

Ordered takeaway via just eat eta hour delivery never turned up. Rang up after allowing a further 20 mins, they 'forgot' about order, although stated delivered on just eat app. Poor service poor response from them. Cheek to call just eat saying they wanted to cancel order at 10:45. Disgraceful. Couldn't put bad review on just eat as refunded. Wouldn't even give them 1 star.
