Golden Sun in Doncaster

Sorry to the people who have had bad experiences but I moved to local in May 2021 ever since then, this Chinese has not missed a beat. I'm waiting for the time I can give it a bad review like the rest of them but simply, almost faultless.There maybe could be more BBQ taste to the rib sauce but I'm struggling to complain. You get what you pay for and it's very nice!

Have used this place for nearly 20 years, I have had many excellent takeaway meals and some average. But to order and be told cash only, when we are nearly in a cashless society is bad. To make it worse the lad who answered the phone needs to learn some manners/respect. I guess I’ll join the rest off the people who left what once was the best Chinese takeaway ☹️

Been ordering from here for many years and always been quite good. Not the same as it used to be. Tonight shocked to find that our meals were reheated and not even properly as they were cold In the middle....binned!

If this was first time ordering, I would’ve put one star, but I’m putting two because we order from here often and it’s usually quite good.delivery time was decent, but when the food was delivered and we’d got it out, we ended up with a wrong order.food was like it had been sat out for half an hour, was barely lukewarm when it arrived. Wasn’t necessarily pleasant to eat either, to be completely honest.We rang up to try and rectify the issue of the wrong order just to get told “you ordered it, nothing we can do”this was by far one of the worst experiences we’ve had with this takeaway, it’s quite sad to be honest because they’re our go to and we rarely have issues. But this wasn’t to their usual standards whatsoever.Probably won’t order again if this becomes a regular occurrence.

We buy here a lot and it’s consistently good but tonight it was some of the best Chinese take away we’ve had. Really fresh

Always ordered from here despite them putting up their prices considerably. Complained about our order tonight as one of the dishes was really sub-standard to what they usually send out. Their response was awful and they wouldn't do anything to rectify the problem as "all their dishes are made in the same way". The poor girl on the phone sounded embarassed having to repeat the manager's response. Food has been hit and miss for a long time and when you finally complain they don't do anything to sort it out.

Have never had a bad meal from here. Have used others during the corona shutdown but they weren't up to the standards this little diamond sets. Hurry up and come back, I'm 'hank marvin!'

I stopped there for a break.Nice and clean place,fast service and the food was very good.Someone said its a bit pricey.They have no competition around here and they still cheaper then chinese takaways in town centre.portion was good and very tasty.Recomended.☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Ordered food from hear today absolutely dreadfully after having to wait well over a hour you would think it would be good.Chips cold and re fried, sweet and sour chicken ball's was small and looked as if they had being cooked a while ago like eating rubber the curry was OK but nothing amazing So disappointed with the food .Just so poor Nedd to get their act together .

I asked for a 148 shredded chicken in chilli sauce and got plain spicy chicken!!! Not happy one bit!! Been looking forward to it all night and I get this had to throw it I would have had it but it's so dry not having any sauce!! Looks like it's a packet of crisps and bed for me !!!
