We were towed there late on a bank holiday evening and had to leave our car in the carpark until it was recovered . The staff were extremely helpful and went beyond the call of duty by going out in the early hours of the morning to look for a laptop that was thought to have been left by the wheel. The Costa was very welcome and all facilities were well clean and well maintained.Customer service was excellent - thankyou for making a very stressful and miserable Friday night less miserable!!
Used the toilet here and it was clean and easy to find. It was fairly busy and the queue at Burger King was blocking the way to the toilets, probably could do with someone managing it at busier times. We had Greggs and our food was both fresh and hot. Car park has some issue with water and the barriers have fallen and not been picked up so are a definite hazard.
Excellent service in Gregg's and this service station staff so welcoming and friendly really good service and friendliness. Very clean good cafes coffees teas shops loos. Excellent staff very welcoming
Not bad for motorway services, clean. Good place to stop if heading east on M62 as awful delays, 1 hr + due to roadworks. Ok going west at the moment.
Rammed. If you park in the coach area and trucks are waiting to refuel they block the exit. Typical truckers, understand why they get a bad name. Needs a yellow box area to prevent vehicles blocking the exit and a big sign in big writing to explain to truckers to leave the exit clear and maybe a picture to show what to do.
The Costa was un staffed and I had to wait a genuine 10 minutes for a member of staff to appear and serve me. There was quite the queue behind me. This was around 6pm on a Friday evening. Proper shoddy effort. The toilets were clean, it was just the Costa that let the place down.i have included a photo of a cup of tea and a plate of hot cross buns with butter that I te for breakfast yesterday. It was way tastier, way cheaper and way quicker to make than anything at Costa.
Good services to stop by, lots of options for food. Free for 2 hours only beyond 2 hours pay and display. Have good variety of food shops. Toilets are okie but congestion during holidays. On-site COVID testing centre for truck drivers. Overall a good place to stop by for food and relax for couple of hours. Lots of electric charging points are also available .
Medium size service station, but great stopover for a break.Travelodge, eateries, M&S and loos.Accesibility: level, electronic/open doors, car parking and loos (bit of turning) for disabled.Car Park: 2 hours for free, parking for disabled.Toilets: Family Room, and for disabled, a bit of threading around.
The place is great for a coffee break, lunch or to get a good rest. The station is equipped with shower, bathrooms, eating area both outside and inside. You have a Burger King, Costa coffee, a travel lodge, Gregg's and Marks and Spencer. The staff is very friendly, the place is safe, and the parking is free for a couple of hours.
