Owston Park Lodge in Doncaster

Ordered the steak and potato pie the pie had been Microwavedthe pastry was rock hard and all I could taste was Pepper I ordered mash potato with it but it Came with chipsThe vegetables were still rawAnd lumpy gravy When I told a member of staff all she said was sorry I hope its better next time we go never going there for food again

Loved everything about it. Staff amazing, very attentive, friendly and smiling, food gorgeous, excellent portions and very good value for money. Brilliant location with extremely large beer gardens, can't wait to home back with all the family. Would highly recommend 👌

looks lovely, clean friendly staff :) we didn't eat or drink here we were looking for a party venue. they were very helpful.

Piss poor performance with the the management of their function room hire. Met a lady to discuss, we waited on a quote to leave a deposit but after chasing, she had left. New Events Manager was poor with her responses in regards to this and then reserved the date that we wanted, despite wanting to pay a deposit but not given the chance! Never responded to emails and was not helpful in re-quoting our event, then when turning up in person to get to the bottom of no responses, had booked our date! Fuming isn't the word, piss poor performance all around from Owston, I would avoid at all costs for any private hire events in their function room

I had a very nice surf and turf. Great Value great portions. All home made. Loved it.

Steak and ale pie second to none.UPDATEWell what can I say we called back about 04-03-22 and it's under new management, food menu is not as good, portion sizes not as good and food served was definitely not upto the same standard,Condiments gone of all the tables.Most of all the price has rocketed £85 for 4 adults 2 small children definitely will not be going here again.

Good food friendly staff. Good beer and reasonably priced. Will call again

Won't be visiting again two of the orders were wrong even though it was written down food wasn't great better places to eat

The place looked pleasent, but the food was disappointing, I ordered a mixed grill, i asked for the steak on it to be cooked well done, it came to the table within 5 minutes? Which amazed me, to be cooked that quickly, it was barely touch warm, the steak was very rare, peas rock hard, gammon thin and chewy... Not happy with any of it, and price. Too much, Don't go.

Just had Sunday dinner at the owston lodge all cooked fresh and brought to the table so no old veg on the hot plate all fresh. Really nice staff I would recommend it. It’s only carvery like on a Sunday it’s what we wanted so great review from us
