Pizza Express in Doncaster

Had such a lovely evening here. We hadn't booked but they managed to squeeze us in on a busy Saturday night. Everyone's meals came, fresh, hot, delicious.And although the food was good, the real reason for the 5 star review was the staff team. We were looked after from the very start by a group of people who clearly knew their strengths and played to them. I saw the manager (?) helping in the kitchen, motivating her staff, being great with the customers.All in all, a memorable evening with well trained, friendly staff. Thanks!

Abbey and Lexie were absolute angels and so welcoming and friendly. The two couldn't have done enough to make sure my partner and I had the best evening possible and were so so accommodating and the best service staff you could ask for.The meals were great, I've not visited Pizza Express in a while but it was just as I remembered and so so much more, the vegan pizzas were amazing and the sides were also great!

Went here today for lunch.Great staff. Felt welcome. Over staffed if I was honest. Think the cleaner brought us the bill that's how many people work there. But my only moan about the place is the pizzas. U can get better at Iceland. The quality of pizzas they serve frozen pizzas from Iceland for a quid are the same.and I think the workers that work there properly think the same. Never in my life have I had a pizza so thin with cheese on. Please please don't waste ur money. Go to Iceland and buy typically the same pizza but £12 cheaper. I'm doing u all a favour here. Xx

The service was slow. The pizza’s are decent. The place is relatively clean and tidy. They didn’t have some things so the menu choice was limited.

Disappointing visit today, ordered pasta dishes and then 15 minutes later came to tell us they had ran out of bechamal sauce so couldn't fulfill 3 of the orders.Very underwhelmed experience.ordersorders.reordpizzas. How do es a pizza ex reorder pizzas

Absolutely bangin'. Honestly can't go wrong with a pizza express, I think I've ordered the same thing for the last 50 visits, Calamari, doppio dough balls and pollo pesto. Only let down is there is never enough pollo pesto and until you make the portions bigger you'll never get 5 stars from me

Ordered 3 items on Uber as a treat...1 x margarita pizza1 x Salad1 x dough balls with sauce.The pizza was cheeseless and cold, and theydidn't send the salad and doughball sauce!!Wouldn't order from here again. Terrible service.

Fantastic Service at Pizza Express Doncaster this evening. The food was delicious, speedy and well presented. Our waiter was friendly, fast and attentative to our parties every need. Thank you for an excellent evening!

Disappointing visit... menu had multiple things unavailable (no problem) but was not made aware until time of ordering (2 drinks in). Service was really quick, great if you want to be in and out... poor if you don't (some will like it others wont) food came out rapidly fast (roasted tomatoes were still frozen) pizza was good desert was good too... Summary quick and easy limited choice then dine here, looking to breathe between courses then skip this place... McDonald's is slower 🤣 the napkins fitting too... #Justsayin

Really enjoyed the place. There were 2 adults and 4 children. Crayons and an activity comic were there waiting for the children. The food was excellent and the service nearly excellent. The only hiccups were our "booked" table had been given away, which was explained, rectified and apologised for quickly and the main course took longer than expected to be cleared away and dessert menus offered. Which is the only reason I've given a 4*.Our waitress, a young lady named Courtney was lovely and even took our 4yr old off to make her own dessert.Would recommend!!
