Poppadom Indian Takeaway in Doncaster

Waited for over 1 hour 30mins, called to chase food, was left hanging on for 6 mins whilst I could hear them serving people at the counter. Food eventually arrived after nearly 2 hours. Ordered from here before and was equally poor at delivery but thought maybe a one off so gave it a second chance. Such a shame as the food is really nice so could be amazing but service is awful and don’t care about their customers. If they can’t run a delivery service they shouldn’t offer it

Ordered chicken madrass was so dry the pilou rice was very dry and keman knann salty amd tasteless 2-10

Had a takeaway here on NYE and it was the best I’ve had in years! The Keema naan is the meatiest I’ve ever had as most places are tight with the meat in them. Food was 10/10, no complaints and I was stuffed. Great prices as well. This is definitely be new favourite Indian takeaway.

This is the ONLY Indian takeaway I ever order from.The food is amazing….nothing is swimming in fat/oil like most Indians and my best mate, who is Indian, couldn’t praise the food enough and trust me, she’s not easy to please when it comes to food!Great customer service, and the food always comes piping hot and super fresh 😋😋

Food took over 2hrs to arrive, and order was wrong.. spoke to them and was promised they'd send driver with missing items and they never arrived.

Food is always nice but if you fancy an Indian on Saturday order it on Friday. Can't remember the last time they delivered under 2 hours and the last one is nearly 3 hours. Since they went in just eat its way more convenient to order on a 30 min collection and pick it up. So glad because the food is lovely.

Curries bought were rather tasteless. Witnessed the naan chef wipe nose on back of hand, eat a poppadom over a food preparation area with someones order beneath all without washing his hands. Disgusting normally worse with the pandemic ongoing. Will not be returning here

First time ordering from just eat it came on time and was nice and hot the food was lovely the chips were a bit on the soggy side the onion barges were nice amd the mint sauce complement was definitely needed to cool my mouth down. I will order again as a always say dont knock it until you try it then if you have a bad experience then be fair and honest about it

Food was good, can see into the kitchen and it all appears clean but the staff were pretty disorganised and our order took a long time, despite having been given a set time from Poppadom on the Just Eat confirmation, we were in there for 20 minutes longer waiting for our food! Generally they need to make better use of the people they have as although there were lots of orders on, there seemed to be more people milling around doing nothing than there were actually cooking or serving at the counter.Will still use them again as they're the only Indian we've found in Doncaster where the dishes taste different to each other and actually of what they say in the descriptions, but will probably not believe the time they give us to go down to collect!
