Roccos Restaurant in Doncaster

We visited tonight, and have to say that unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service. We were shown to our table straight away and given menus and ordered drinks. We ordered our starters and these came pretty quickly and were very good. Then we had to wait over an hour for our main courses to arrive. The table next to us came in a while after us, and they got their main courses before us. They were told that the kitchen were short staffed. No one approached us the whole of the time that we were waiting for our main courses. By the time the food arrived, we had lost our appetite. When we settled our bill, the waitress just walked away at the end without saying thank you, good night or hope you've enjoyed your meal. Not a word. It appeared that the waitresses upstairs were trainees and no one in authority was checking on the customers upstairs. This spoilt the night for us unfortunately, which is a shame. Won't be in a rush to go back.

Beautiful food, not extortionate prices, service was wonderful and with a smile. Highly recommend and we will be returning.Ps, the vegetarian ravioli that there doesn't look like there's much of is extremely deceptive and defeated me.

We had a wonderful meal for my wife's birthday. It was the first time we had been there and we weren't disappointed. The interior was welcoming and very comfortable, service was extremely attentive and helpful without being over the top and the quality of food exceptional. We could not fault anything and Roccos has gained our rating as best local Italian. Thank you team for a very enjoyable experience.

First time to Roccos. This lovely Italian restaurant is quite upmarket which is reflected in the price. Shared starter, 2x main courses and a bottle of house red came to £110. The food was good and the staff friendly. Definitely a place to visit

Great food, well presented and good menu choice. The restaurant is situated in a great setting in a lovely small town. The staff are attentive and friendly and the decor is elegant. A place for special occasions!

Fantastic experience went Xmas eve for my birthday. Food was amazing , staff were efficient & friendly. The place was buzzing such a nice vibe .Will definitely be going back couldn't fault a thing was perfect 👌

Had a wonderful evening for my brothers birthday meal last night. The food and service were outstanding. Beautiful restaurant and I cannot fault anything about my experience there.

Recently visited the restaurant as a party of three staff were pleasant and attentive. Seated immediately on arrival, drinks ordered, and left to choose our meals from the menu. The food was presented beautifully, and the taste and texture was also to a high standard. We had a 2 hour slot but never felt rushed at any point. The cocktails I'm told were delicious, we will be returning here.

Friendly and professional service, great food and a lovely evening had by all. Well-catered for vegetarians and kids, food was excellent. Thanks for having us!
