The best venue and team!We just hired The Blind Librarian for my husbands 40th birthday party and it was without doubt the best decision! To start with the venue is pretty awesome but the team are just brilliant and did EVERYTHING above and beyond to make it everything I’d imagined when planning and we all had an absolutely top top night.We had a personalised cocktail menu and the drinks and first rate and totally delicious! 👌🏼The team helped me with welcome drinks, displays, canapés (which were also amazing), a photographer and they were just a pleasure to interact with!Thanks so so much guys! I can’t recommend enough!!!

I hired the blind librarian for our company christmas party. It was fabulous! Friendly environment! Smoking cocktails! All the cocktails tasted amazing! My personal favourite knickerbockerglory! Fantastic value for money! Perfect decor with Christmas decorations all in place for rhe season. We all throughly enjoyed our evening! Wow what an awesome place🤘first time visit last night with partner and daughter birthday. The staff couldn't do enough to help. Cocktails are the best and atmosphere great. Once again big thanks to izzy and didn't get barmans name but fabby cocktails. We cant wait to come back 🥂xx

Absolute gem of a find, imagine a Harry Potter-esque basement speakeasy with elements of a mad scientist's laboratory, regency period officer's mess and stage prop room and you're somewhere there. What a fabulous atmosphere, cocktails and quirky wondrous artifacts nestled in a back alley emporium. Magical. Can't recommend highly enough and yet I'm reluctant to because I'm selfish and want it all to myself!! ((cue sinister laughter)).Seek it out and I guarantee you'll be back for more!!

After getting my haircut upstairs, I found out about this little hideaway. Was able to book and get a table for the evening. No pressure to leave early and a great atmosphere whilst trying the different cocktails on offer.

Disappointing and overpriced (compared to other Bawtry establishments) after being recommended the decor lived up to expectations but service, cocktails, value for money and attitude of staff/management leaves room for much improvement. Will not be visiting again or recommending.
