The Cadeby Pub & Restaurant in Doncaster

Gorgeous place. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. Was a bit pricey but worth it.

Fantastic pub. Mixture of very old traditional bar with a modern beer garden and fine dining. Salubrious interior design, aligns with the foundations of what makes a good pub: welcoming, comforting and tasty beer.

Went recently and the usually outstanding Sunday lunch is no more than average since the management change. Gave it a second chance after the first poor meal but not at all value for money anymore..time for a change. Pitty

Unbelievable food and great decor. My new favourite place to eat in snd around doncaster.A little on the £ side however fully expected due to quality of food.10/10

Fabulous food great service, lovely decor

Had a meal here on the way back to Oxfordshire from Whitby and it was a lovely place to stop for some food. The owner was doing the front of house and the serving and he was doing a brilliant job of it. He was so friendly and made us feel really welcome.The interior decor was really well thought out and unique from the front door to the toilets.The food was absolutely amazing and everyone else’s on the other tables looked great as well, especially the steak. Have favourited to come back sometime!

Poor evening at the cadeby inn tonightWas sat at the bar waiting to be seated by staff who were more concerned about carrying on their conversation when they could see us at the bar.Placed in the bar area to eat when there were free tables in the restaurant area free.Menu was severely limited. One vegetarian option.And to top it off as we’re eating the staff are clearing and cleaning up around us.This is my second visit Here. The first was good. Tonight I feel I wasted my time, money and effort driving over.I won’t be rushing back.And to top it off the food was average at best.

Can highly recommend this place. We went here as a family of four for Sunday dinner. It's worth mentioning that I'm not a big fan of going out for a roast dinner, I usually find them underwhelming. Not here though! This was hands down the best Sunday roast I've had anywhere, and my wife concurred. Between us we had all three options of beef, turkey and ham. I had beef and the meat was cooked to perfection, the accompanying vegetables were delicious and the portion size was ample enough to leave me feeling full for the rest of the day. I also enjoyed a Bakewell pudding desert, with the rest of the family having ice cream. They seemed to have a pretty wide selection of drinks, with several beers on tap, including a tasty fruity IPA.Service was excellent and the staff were really naturally friendly and were very sweet and welcoming to our two young children. The venue itself was nice, with comfortable seating and looked to have a nice outdoor area, although we didn't go out as it was wet.We found it to be very reasonably priced especially for the level of quality and service. We will definitely be visiting again to try out the standard menu.

This is somewhere we have been on many occasions and enjoyed the food and ambience.This is the first time we have been since the pandemic and unfortunately it is not what it used to be.The staff are still lovely, attentive and helpful. The location is beautiful with a lovely atmosphere and the cleanliness is to a super high standard. Sadly some of the food is not what it was and could do with a little attention to detail ..... maybe a relish with the burger and a sauce with the chicken and a little less overcooked. Saying that the pie was amazing.I would go again but a little attention to the menu would enhance the whole experience.
