The Classic & Contemporary Coffee Stop in Doncaster

Busy cafe and deservedly so.....friendly and efficient service staff and great food freshly prepared. We really enjoyed it.

Lovely food and lots of it. However we weren't acknowledged when we entered by any staff for about 5 minutes even though plenty walking passed us. We asked not to put coleslaw on our plates but they did but no chips and no condiments of any sort. We will go again but would ask for a little better service please. Maybe just an off day.

Had a lovely lunch here with family. Toasted sandwiches and paninis were lovely. Cakes were delicious. Friendly staff.

Always the same quality food at good prices, chicken and alepeno panni x 2 ( with salads and fries)1 toastie with same,1 soup of day, 3 pint/ large lagers, appletiser and soda, 2 slices of caramel cake.. 55 quid @ 2pm , well spent as for supper only had small meals at around 9pm.

Lovely food. We shared a jacket potato and it was plenty for a light meal. The coleslaw was gorgeous. Then we had lemon drizzle cake which was scrummy! The staff were lovely. We will be going again!

Nice place and food looks lovely, only down side was we only had coffee and had a long wait.

Very clean and spacious with relaxing decor. Tables are well spaced out, staff are attentive. Vegan and vegetarian options could be improved and this would draw more people in. Toilet facilities clean and tidy. Range of smaller and bigger tables. However the round small tables are too small and require removing the salt and pepper holder to create space. They ok if just having a drink but too small if having food.

Decent breakfast coffee ok and a nice pot of tea not much cake choice but saying that it looked good

Excellent value for money place. My wife and I have been coming for a year or two now, but my work colleague and I often work in Rotherham and on our way home to Scunthorpe, it's a regular stop- off place for a drink and a bite to ear en- route home. Great location, great menu, friendly, helpful, courteous staff...what more can I say...👌👏👍☕🍔🥓

Really attentive smiling staff - makes the whole experience even betterGreat value. Had the big breakfast - was almost too big for me. All cooked fresh, not drenched in fats, presented nicely, but most of all tasted amazing - crispy hash browns!Would happily use again.Check opening times, it was open earlier than expected.
