WHAT AN INCREDIBLE HOTEL! My wife and I have just enjoyed the most incredible 3 day weekend here for our wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and the food, service and rooms were all perfect. What made the weekend all the more special was the comments we received from our guests, many of whom had travelled from afar. We chose this hotel because we liked it. But for so many of the guests to comment on how great the venue is was great to hear. The Caldaria Spa Suite is just phenomenal. We already have it booked for our anniversary next year. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make our weekend so perfect.

My wife and I booked our April 8th 2022 wedding at Mount Pleasant, back in 2019. Throughout the whole process, there was absolutely nothing that Mark, Debbie and the Team found too small a job for us.Our day was run flawlessly by Mark with minute precise timing. The food was excellent with all of our guests dietary requirements catered for without any issues. I think at one point Mark actually spoke to a guest about their dietary requirements that he had memorised.The room was transitioned for the night before we even knew something was happening. We just couldn’t have asked for more from our venue.Thank you for making our day so perfect and completely stress free. We couldn’t recommend Mount Pleasant more. We love you guys!

Stayed in the Laconium Signature Spa Suite for my 60th birthday. Absolutely amazing room and facilities. Fab breakfast and evening meal. We paid for the romantic retreat and had prosecco on ice, chocolates and a late checkout. Cannot fault at all and staff were amazing. Have booked to come back in June and will be coming back to try every spa suite. Highly recommend this place.

Had a 2 night stay (DB&B) in the Executive Family Room which was huge.The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very smiley.On arrival we had Afternoon Tea, which was a lovely experience, before checking in. Our room was comfortable and well appointed.Our evening meal (from the Table D'Hote) was enjoyable or we could have had an allowance against the A La Carte menu. Breakfast could not have been better with everything you could hope for.I felt so relaxed after our stay and would definitely return.My only gripe would be that being disabled I need a lot of things close to hand but there was no drawer space and I had to put everything on top of the bedside unit - but that's just a personal thing.I gave 4 stars for location as it is next to a very busy road, however the double glazing completely hid the sound.

Lovely staff, from checking to checking out.Nothing was too much trouble. We were booked in for a treatment before our checking to our room, which was lovely.Sandra from the breakfast really stood out for us. It's just the little things that make all the difference.Myself and my daughter would highly recommend this hotel.

Disappointing afternoon tea. Service was very slow and inattentive. My scone wasn't baked through. Sandwiches very nice, but dry. It took 40 minutes from ordering to getting our food, and we had to go and ask where it was. Didn't get offered limitless tea and coffee, had to ask for that too. I guess it was just a bad day on their part. Pity for us that we were celebrating a special birthday.

Lovely atmosphere and building, wonderful staff, beautiful rooms (bedrooms, venue space), lovely out door areas paved and garden. Wedding venue indoors and out are lovely. Prices reflect the quality of the stay and experience.

I booked a birthday night away for my husband, when we arrived to check in we were told that we had been upgraded to a junior suite which was a lovely surprise. The room was lovely, spotless and clean and the jacuzzi bath a nice extra. The food in the evening was excellent. My husband had a plate with a chocolate happy birthday and 3 beautiful chocolates delivered to our room which was a lovely surprise. All staff in the hotel were very pleasant. The Mount Pleasant will always be our first choice as we have spent many special occasions here over the years. Thank you once again for an enjoyable stay and I’m sure it won’t be long until we visit again.

Arrived and was given a free upgraded room, which was a nice surprise. The room was lovely and immaculate.Went for some treatments can highly recommend doing this.The staff are very helpful and the food was outstanding. We will definitely come back. Lovely stay, would recommend

The hotel was lovely, the room was very large, spacious, very clean and comfortable and I really liked the fact that the tv area was separate from the bed area. The staff were all very friendly and breakfast and dinner were good quality and tasted nice. I think the only down point is that you have to pay extra if you don't want standard coffee with breakfast, I would expect that you can get any kind of coffee included as you can in a lot of cheaper chain hotels.
