Just called in for a drink. Nice flat white and pot of tea which come with a tasty shortbread piglet. Also had a sausage roll which we shared as it was quite large. Pleasant and friendly staff....would recommend.....

Popped in today with my wife for lunch, we were very pleased with the food, really delicious, the staff were welcoming and friendly. We also had what I can only describe as the best cheesecake in the world, the lady that makes them is very talented, we will 100% be returning.Very lovely placeThankyou

Super delicious food clearly made from great quality ingredients. I really enjoyed the simple menu done exceptionally well ethos. I will for sure be back, its worth a trip out with easy parking and lovely shop on site for any bits you may like.

Very disappointed. We have been a few times for breakfast and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. This time we went for lunch. We were disappointed with the choices on offer to start off with. I had the fish and chips the batter was far too well done I had to pick it up if I tried to cut it, it shot off the plate. 2 of my party had stroganoff and again were not happy. Portions were very small, but wasn't creamy at all. Desserts were also not good no ice cream, or cream so we had dry cake. Would definitely not go for lunch again. Overpriced for the choices offered.

These 3 stars are for the chefs that made our tables food, probably the best burger I’ve ever had. The only reason you guys didn’t get 5 stars is because of your rude, thoughtless and forgetful Waitresses. One of our party was a vegan and we asked for a vegan menu, she went to get it, forgot about it so we asked again and she put it on the table behind us for some reason why I’ll never know

Lovely atmosphere, lovely food. Slow to serve food but so busy having a catch up it didn't really matter. But they were aware, apologised and the drinks were free of charge. Will be going again

I’d have given this place 5 star just for the desert…which was quite possibly the best sweet I had ever tasted in my life..had butterscotch ice cream and honeycomb on top..can’t recall the rest but wow, delicious. Overall the experience was lovely, a simple but cosy interior with lovely countryside views, excellent food and friendly service.. we really enjoyed our meal on the night before our wedding at the end of August…we will return when back in the north!

No tables for walk-in's due to being short staffed. This was annoying as there wasn't anywhere else around to eat so we went hungry. The next nearest village didn't serve food until 5pm by which point this place was able to fit us in. But it was only 3pm so just went home after our pint

Went for afternoon tea. Not disappointed. Although didn't look a lot, but it was perfect. 4 sandwich fingers, favourite cheese and pickle, proper cheese. Fruit scone was a little dry but the lemon tart was amazing. Beautiful venue. Amazing views. Will be back
