Ate breakfast with 5 other people was very nice also a much needed hot drink. Large Comfortable surroundings and nice atmosphere for early morning.

Great pub, always busy but always manage to get a table whenever I go. Food was spot on, couldn't fault it. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Food was nice and came quite quickly but the lasagne i ordered was small and only came with a small pot of salad, had expected chips as well. Also no longer do beef chilli on the menu and just do 5 bean chilli instead which was disappointing.

Called in for lunch,jacket potato with tuna and side salad, absolutely lovely.we are both partially sighted ,the service was superb,thank your staff.

Lovely food, however the manager on the day I came into the pub was very rude. Walked off when I was speaking to him about my concerns. Had a very bad attitude. Paid for a meal through the app, then tried charging me extra for a soft drink which was cheaper than the alcoholic drink that I had ordered which he wouldn’t give me. (granted I left my ID at home due to an unexpected visit- so understand he couldn’t give it me- but wouldn’t even replace what I’d already paid for to a soft drink)Do not recommend this place and the manager needs further training on customer services!

The staff at this hotel are a real asset, good sense of humour, when we asked if would be moved to a twin room because my snoring was keeping my partner awake they laughed with us and did their very best to accommodate us, food is spot on for a Wetherspoons (we wasn’t expecting much) and service quick, rooms nice modern and clean, would definitely recommend. Mark is a great member of staff funny, friendly but professional, made our stay a great one. We will be back

Went for tea (5pm) on valentines day. Was gutted they had no prosecco.. Who doesn't have prosecco at 5pm on valentines day? 10pm? Understandible!! Very Poor planning. However. The place has a good atmosphere, wasn't too busy and the food was nice. Steak & chips. Staff were lovely too.

The food was nice. Just the service made them loose a star.I was dining with my young nephew and when I asked for sauces I was told they were 'at the end of the bar' no offer to help them for me as I had a 2 year old with me. I was taken back by this and would just like to give feedback on this. I know it is a busy world we live in at the minute but helping out an adult and young child without having to leave the table would be appreciated in future.

ÂŁ2.25 pints of lager. Yes please. Great value.We got 5 full Englishes and 5 drinks and it was ÂŁ28 I couldn't believe it! So cheap but really nice tooDoes get very busy on Saturdays so get there early to get a table

The breakfast was actually really nice, I couldn't fault The portion size and the food was fresh and of a decent quality. Sausages were especially good and the lurpack butter with nice crusty toast really made the difference (it's the little things).Great atmosphere and it was really cheap too, I'll definitely be coming here more often.
