Zammuto Steak & Grill house in Doncaster

So cheap and so good. Best steak house in Doncaster!!!

Steak was over cooked, cold and a little tough. My wife ordered rare and it wasn't even close. Half of it had clearly been cooked to medium.Kids ordered burgers and for £10 these were the same size as a McDonald's quarter pounder. Not much flavour or seasoning and served on a sesame seed bun.Sides were all extra and were poor. Chips were dry and small portions. No crisp to them and seemed to be all skin. Onion rings were soggy. Diane steak sauce was nice but Aragona was flavourless.Despite having a pudding, my kids left hungry. It took two and a half hours and wasn't that busy. It was a full hour before we got any food.A meal like this should be special. We got cold food from a bad menu served very slowly.

The steaks in this place are the best i have had in Donny!The chips were standard and tasted like frozen chips but overall the food was lovely and the restaurant is definitely the place to go. Reasonably priced menu!Didn't have a dessert so can't comment.Be mindful it is cash only....no card payments. We will go again!

This was our first visit to this lovely family run restaurant, and it most definitely won't be our last.The staff were very attentive but didn't buzz around us.The food was delicious and such a great price 😋 they do a steak platter 2 8oz steaks (upgrade to 10oz for £2 extra) 3 sides & 2 sauces for £32.00 👍 the steaks were delicious and melted in your mouth.They did platters for 4 people also and a variety of different platters as well as a varied range of dishes.It was a lovely atmosphere and the other diners all seemed to be regulars.They only take cash so make sure you visit the cash point before you go. But if you don't there is a cash point just up the road.We will definitely be back.Thank you for a lovely evening

Absolutely brilliant here, the food is first class every time we come here, the staff very welcoming and friendly, can't fault anything with this place, it perfect 👍

Service although friendly was sadly lacking, ie pots left and glasses left on the table to long, even though it wasn't to busy. Sauces where cold, which they gave a partial refund on, shame coffee takes absolutely ages, was offered a coke while it was being made, then forgotten altogether.

Zammutos tonight. 1st visit and loved it.Lamb cutlets to start, 8oz fillet with Diane sauce, chips, haw haw beans, garlic mushrooms and onion rings!!!! Melt in the mouth steak 😋Staff very friendly and attentive. Excellent service and great prices. We all had 3 drinks each plus desserts and coffees.£60 per couple.Highly recommend it and will definitely return!!!

- Friendly staff- Clean establishment.Unfortunately we was given the centre table and people was walking around us quite a lot.But once we was eating it we didn't realise to much.Food was fantastic, the price is cheap compared to the surrounding venues that have upped their price.For example, £3 for a JD & Coke.Compared to the surround places charging as much for £4.80 for a single and £5.60 for a double.(no joke, it's a very real thing). 😩Toilets are upstairs and I'm uncertain about one for disabled users.It's a fairly high step to walk in.Hope this may help.
