Terrible service and terrible food. Will never go again.Left waiting for drinks orders, brought out mains with dirty starter plates not cleared. No option for how steak was to be cooked. Brought desserts with no cutlery. Had to clear own plates to make space for desserts. Felt like an inconvenience to the staff who had no customer service whatsoever.Actually embarrassed I'd previously recommended the place to friends and asked them to join us.

Went yesterday for my friends birthday and was served by Simon ‘the manager’ who was rude, arrogant and spoke down to us, as if we were beneath him due to the fact we were 18. Myself and my friend were refused to be served because he claimed our ID did not look like us, although we had our bank cards and could prove via social media it was us. He asked me to write down my signature and still said it wasn’t good enough? I was served a few weeks earlier with the same ID and there was no problem, again I was served at the beginning of the year for my 18th birthday. It’s not the fact we did not get served it is how he spoke to us and had no intention of serving us in the first place. He was very rude and ruined my friends birthday night, made us feel very uncomfortable as we could see him going up to other staff members talking and constantly staring at our table. We would like to thank all the other staff members who was lovely and very polite, shame their manager let the place down, would think he would set an example?

Really great food, the staff were very nice reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

Visited zest for first time last night for my sons Birthday. The food was beautiful, great taste and presentation the portion size was more than enough.Would have given 5 stars but the service was poor.Staff not very freindly, all very young and looked like didn't want to be there. Was seated and just left there, had to ask for drinks after a while then had to ask for our order to be taken.

Absolutely beautiful food. Excellent service. I love that they have a little button on the table to get their attention. Reasonably priced. Fantastic staff would 100% recommend.

Not very impressed with this place. Went there for lunch after I read some really good reviews. Had a beef burger from the regular menu and chips. The chips tasted like its been fried ages ago and just reheated and the burger made me sick half an hour after I had it. Maybe it was me because my boyfriend had the same and he was alright, however not gonna risk it twice.

I never normally leave a negative review but this deserves it. Please read and share! So me and my partner came to Doncaster Town. We fancied a lunch . I remembered having a great meal at Zest some time ago. We ordered from the lunch menu. Bbq chicken burger and a piri piri chicken burger. They came looked great nice and hot. Upon tasting them the bbq one did not taste of bbq and the piri piri did not taste of anything other than grilled chicken. We asked for assistance and they took them away. The waitress then informed me they could only redo the piri piri one as the bb q one did have sauce on it. It didn't! She had previously informed us the chefs were getting mixed up for some reason today. So my partner got a new burger but my option was to either have the burger I had taken away given back to me even though it had been taken apart and inspected by possibly three people. The chefs and the supervisor on shift at the time. I politely declined but still had to pay. I had two mouthful s. Terrible I've never known such poor service. We were polite the order was not right. Well never again. So disappointed!

The food was delicious, cooked perfectly to our liking. Lots of drink choice and everything is at a decent price. The staff were very attentive too. Can't fault them, best meal we've had out for ages.

Had a lovely meal out with friends on Saturday evening. My vegetarian burger with hallumi was awesome.My lime and soda water was very zingy and refreshing. We all had a fab time

Great service within covid restrictions. Staff were courteous but firm with enforcing their policies for keeping everyone safe. Screens separate tables and they have a smart text to order service to minimise contact with staff. Food and drink was good too!
