Food was fantastic. Staff really friendly. Prices were great. Highly recommended

Fab fish, chips and mushy peas we really enjoyed eating at your lovely pub yesterday.

Lovely olde world pub.Food and drinks are absolutely amazing and a reasonable price.Staff are friendly and dogs are welcome.

Ordered mixed grill, fish and chips and steak pie.Mixed grill came out and we was advised "sorry we do jot have any ribs so pit you gammon on instead" wasn't best pleased as the food had all come out so accepted as it was.The gammon was grey and smelt terrible. Meal sent back to bar. Was offered a free starter or desert however asked for a refund, as the rest of the meal hadn't been touched, and it was honoured.Put me off visiting again.

4 of us dined today, fantastic food. Half rack of ribs, curry and sausage and mash can all be recommended. Staff all very friendly and attentive. Thank you The Alexandra...

Situated approximately 200yds from the beach this is a town centre hotel with recently decorated chalet type accomodation to the rear. No breakfast but the hotel does have a restaurant that serves good quality reasonably priced evening meals.Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only drawback is the hotel does not have a carpark and roadside parking is limited to one hour between 9am-6pm, that said it's an ideal base if you are sightseeing along the East Yorkshire coast

Nice friendly staff, God food with generous portions. Definitely worth going again.

Just had yet another lovely meal.today was exceptional as for a few weeks they had Thai green curry on the specials menu . But I was disappointed as it wasn't available today .the bar person went to ask Chef if he would make one and he went out of his way for me .and made one especially for me .thank you so much .all that was left was an empty plate .excellent service.

We live in Withernsea and my son and daughter booked a surprise mother's day treat for me and my partner...we wasn't disappointed...the food ..carvery was absolutely amazing!! And the staff and chef were brilliant!! If you visit withernsea ...please give the Alex a go...you won't be disappointed.!!
