Visited here over the Easter weekend and wasn't disappointed. Excellent service. We bought the cod and chips which was a little over £10 but well worth it as the portions are massive and really tasty. My child had the medium haddock and chips at a little over £8 but even this would have been sufficient for an adult. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting brid!

Lovely fish and chips in the restaurant, the jumbo fish was huge. The only downside is that they only accept cash and you are asked to pay when ordering therefore, if you feel like having a dessert after your meal you have to order and pay a second time. Should accept contactless payments in this day and age, so lose a star for that!

It says on the door of Audrey's Fish and chips, dogs welcome. After choosing a table we was told we wasn't allowed to feed or water our dog, feeding we can understand, but you cannot refuse people giving water to their dog.....as you can imagine we just left. Audrey's may be famous fish and chips but definitely avoid if you care about your dog.

Visited here as googled best fish and chip shop in Bridlington and some how this place came up!! God knows where these people had visited but clearly not here! We'd walked to Bridlington so worked up an appetite and were so looking forward to our fish and chips. First of all, what businesses these days don't accept cards. Hey ho, got over that shock and ordered our fish and chips. To our shock the fish still had the skin on. We then realized why it had the skin on - the fish was so thin that it would have been impossible to skin it as there would have been only flakes left! The so called fish was more skin with a flake of thickness of fish and thick batter to make it look thicker I guess we should have complained but didn't as had to set off back to beat the tide so had to eat quite quickly. Instead we grumbled for the 3 mile walk back! What a total waste of money and calories! Never again, can honestly say the worst fish and chips I've had! Stay clear unless you want fish skin and batter!!

Cute from the outside, staff were friendly, we ordered and had to wait outside, good news the sun was shining so no problem. When the order was ready we were called back in to collect the, the chips were delicious however the size of the portion was tiny I thought for £2.20! I would try another place next time we pop over.

Took the "OAP lunch" offer of fish, chips, bread and butter with a cuppa for £7.20. Overall the food and portion size were good. Served fresh and hot in good time. Condiments available on the table so no silly small sachets of sauce to deal with.Service was a bit "brisk." Not the friendliest welcome or table service but I got my food as ordered and without issue.I do agree with the previous review about the decor. Seats are worn and in some cases, with ingrained dirt. However, tables were being cleaned between customers so I wasn't too worried.Overall score of 3 stars. Living in Notts beside the current "Best UK chippy" gives me something 5 star standard to benchmark against. Audrey's certainly isn't an award winner, but its a good, honest seaside chippy.

On arrival we were stopped and told to sanitise our hands which is fine but it could've been asked in a more polite way . The food was very good but the furniture was old and tatty . There was only 3 tables in use as it was quiet Sunday afternoon. There was chips and other foods on the floor and staff just wipe table tops and ignored the mess. Considering we had to sanitise to then sit on chair which not only looked horrid but you literally stuck to the chair .

Lived in Bridlington for three years and decided to try Audrey's as it advertises itself as the best fish and chips in Brid. I ordered small haddock and chips at £6.30. I have to say it was the worst fish and chips that I can recall trying to eat. The fish was thin tail end and completely overcooked so that most of it was unable to chew. The chips were OK but that didnt make up for a very disappointing meal. I will not be repeating it.
