Bengal Lounge in East Riding of Yorkshire

Well priced, good menu, quick service on Saturday evening, would return.

How you could call these prawns let alone king prawns on the restaurant menu I will never know! All the food was just full of onions to make up for the lack of meat and fish terrible food just onions and some sauce

Really nice food definitely come back again good customer service and price of meals was reasonable thank you.

Rude and Dishonest StaffWe rang ahead and asked if we’re able to use two Tastecards for 4 people, we were told this would be no problem and so booked our visit. Upon arrival we were told despite them agreeing to 2 for 1 for four people (with the two tastecards) that they were only willing to discount one main and a side of rice. Had they originally stated this we would have gone elsewhere.Staff member serving us was rude and made us feel uncomfortable during our meal which arrived incorrect.All in all a poor experience and safe to say we won’t be returning!Worrying thing is it seems that they have been dishonest before regarding prices after reading some other reviews.

Pretty gutted.. this place was recommended by a friend who orders from here fairly often and said it was great. I actually ordered the most popular tikka masala which arrived watery, bland and quite frankly not very nice.. its got to of been the worst masala I've ever had.. I hope the restaurant stops watering down as I would like to use this place again next year.P.s the Mrs's food was good and the side orders were great.I would come back here if the masala was right.

Great meal here - nice to see different menu items. Do try the tandoor cook meats - was really good!

A lovely place with a selection of different dishes to your normal Indian restaurant and reasonably priced.

Clean restaurant.. Polite and friendly staff, however the chicken tikka & meat missals's sauces tasted similar was a little too red and was just too sweet in taste

I've been to the Bengal lounge on a couple of occasions and recently had a takeaway from there. I can not fault the restaurant on the occasions I've been there. It's been busy and had a nice atmosphere. But your not made to feel you've got to rush to leave your table after you've finished eating. The staff have been lovely and always very friendly. They have always been keen to make our experience in the restaurant positive. And to top it all off the food has been lovely both in the restaurant and as a takeaway. Prices are what you expect to pay for an indian meal in our area. I'd highly recommend a visit. But I would book a table first as it can be very busy.
