Came across this hotel while looking for somewhere not too expensive for our wedding anniversary and I'm so glad I did.. Absolutely amazing place, if you love antiques and anything quirky then this is for you.. It was like staying in a museum, everywhere you look there was something cool to see and the pool with sauna and steam room was really lovely, with the lady on the reception really friendly and it was just so easy and relaxed. In fact all staff were really nice and friendly and there was just no fuss or issue you were just left to chill. We stayed in room 9 and I loved the vintage decor and furniture, so much better than staying in some boring bog basic hotel with no character and charm... The furniture was awesome and the bed was super compfy. You can not fault the value for money with this place and we will definitely be booking again soon... Just a shame its only for 16yrs+ because our daughter (she's 8) would love this place because there's just so much to explore.. But in hindsight because there was no children it was very relaxing. If you like unusual and something a little different then I would highly recommend, but if you like shiny and new with no personality then I'd stick to your boring premier inns. Even though the decor and furnishings are old it was still very clean and well maintained... 10 out of 10 from us and thank you for a lovely stay.

Visited the hotel for Sunday dinner. Carvery with a choice of beef, turkey and ham on a large or standard plate. Be aware the large plate serves a lot of food. I chose the beef which was very good, cooked all of the way through, which I prefer. My wife chose a portion of each and she said that in her opinion the turkey was best, very tasty and still moist. Large selection of vegetables of which the glazed carrots were the standout. The staff were all cheerful and very attentive. All in all, an enjoyable meal at a reasonable price.

Really was not a hotel I would recommend. Parking is minimal and there not enough spaces for 1 car per room. Hotel furnishing is dated and makes the rooms look smaller than they are. Fire Alarm went of at 3:30 and not a comment about it was said when I checked out. Obviously being woken at 330am then not getting back to your room till 4:15 is not idealGood points - the hotel was cleanThe food was freshly cooked and hot.Staff were friendly

Loved the location. As everyone says, a bit dated but lovely people, beautiful pictures all over the place and very period public rooms. Clean room but our double bed was a 3/4 but we're both slim so it didn't matter that much. Room 10 lol 😂

We stayed 3 nights and found a pleasant atmosphere. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, in particular Cloe and Sharon. A cosy room with a wet room shower was ideal. A good breakfast was enjoyed each morning. Driffield is a lovely town with market on a Thursday. Will be delighted to stay again. Sadly no disabled parking!!

On arrival to this lovely quirky hotel so nice and unusual lots of little rooms leading off. We received a nice welcom by a nice lady who showed us to our room. Room extremely large as it was an executive room and nice and clean slightly noisy at the night time but only because England won I presume. Enjoyed the swim

How quirky and quaint! It may not be the predictable chains you are used to, but it's clean, the staff were so helpful and the breakfast was great! Spa facilities are lovely too. Decor is tired, hence the rating, but would happily stay again

We stayed for two nights at the start of June 2021. Food was lovely, staff very friendly and accommodating but the room are tired, not in a quirky olde world way but just tired. Bed in first room as broken and mattress ready for the skip. We got moved to another room and again we had to prop the mattress with cushions as again it was past it’s best. We used the spa facilities and they were great. The hospitality industry has been on its knees for the best part of 18 months and I would hope that once things improve the hotel can invest in some new beds. Would highly recommend for food and drink!
