Best value food for miles. We are regular visitors to the Aire & Calder Brewers Fayre in Goole area. We return because it’s kept clean, tables always wiped, plates etc moved from the tables promptly. The friendly staff, Paul, Collette, Gavin are just some of the lovely welcoming managers and there’s another couple of managers a lovely young lady with glasses and another dark haired young woman sorry I forget their names however all the staff there are great at their job. The young member of staff who has just returned after having a baby and Rob would go that extra mile to help you have a lovely, relaxing meal & drink in there. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of them to help you. The menu is varied suitable to all tastes. There’s the two for £8.99 offer every week day before 6pm with cheap starters & deserts, so real value for money. We’ve tried most of the menu and never had a bad meal. I can honestly say the Sunday lunches are delicious for £8.99 you won’t taste better. Big pat on the back to the kitchen chefs & staff. The drinks are reasonably priced too. We’ve tried other Brewers Fayre but none come close to the Aire & Calder. Well done to the fantastic staff, you know we’ll be back!Jan L

Parking is now better - 3 hours for customers, but registration required in the restaurant. No dairy free milk alternative available. Usually alpro soya milk is available, but the manager informed me he hasn't had a delivery in a month. This is clearly unacceptable for many customers who have dietary restrictions due to preference or intolerances. It is not as if alternatives are not available everywhere nowadays. Staff were very helpful and apologetic. Vegan alternative to sausage and bacon available.

Breakfast service was excellent. Very hard working people with the right attitude. Food good too, but better quality sausages are required.

Great service, hot tasty food, warm comfortable atmosphere. A place you can count on to satisfy the taste buds. Good table booking service too unlike another pub chain close by who let us down. And it wasn't spoons.

This was a very nice pub with great food. I got the vegetarian burger with chips which was really really yummy. We didn't try any of the deserts but there was a great selection on the menu. One thing I particularly loved was the range of vegetarian options on the menu. I found it hard to choose! The staff were friendly and responsive. The only thing I didn't particularly like about this pub was that you had to go up to the bar to order all your food. As a table of 8, we had to write down all of our orders on a scrap of paper in order to remember it, this was abit inconvenient.

This place is just average the staff were really pleasant and most of our meals tasted ok. We are not a family of big eaters but i could compare the portion sizes to ready meals when I finished my main I felt like I needed to eat the plate, we all had mains and desserts but were still relatively hungry, we would have to consider having 3 courses if we return.

Great food, lovely staff, friendly and happy to help 😀

Friendly staff and good service. vegan menu options were sufficient but a little confusing to understand as some were colour coded. The food we ordered was tasty and we'll prepared. Good experience overall.

Very disappointed this morning. Arrived for breakfast and as we had a need for a gluten free menu, we were simply offered a folder full of very very small print where the diner is expected to be held responsible for checking each item for suitability. A major chain such as Brewers Fayre should in this day and age have menu's that allow diners with special dietary needs to select suitable items with ease.

Gluten free dining at Brewer’s FayreI’ve had to be gluten free for the last 18 months and finding a restaurant that takes this seriously is sometimes a challenge. We booked ahead for the Brewer’s Fayre at Goole on arrival they offered me the full allergy menu and made it clear that I could take my time selecting suitable dishes from the menu. I was informed that my food would be cooked separately and that we could expect a slight delay. Our server, Robert J, was extremely attentive and even brought me separately wrapped cutlery. The meal itself was enjoyable and good value. If you have an allergy I would recommend this restaurant and let them know in advance of your dietery requirements. This is such a refreshing change from most other places.
