Wasn't made to feel welcome and had to return a pint of lager as it tasted like vinegar, don't plan on returning

I would only like to comment on the decor. I was a regular there 7 years ago and the pub could best be described as quirky: stuffed foxes and telegraph like poles supporting the celling. The new decor seems to have kept the charm of the old pub and improved it. Its a proper local and I hope it stays like that.

A great local pub. Warm welcome, great value food and a very well kept cellar. What more is there to say?

The Burns Head, it actually is a nice looking pub from the outside, food OK , beer is excellent. A bit dirty and dusty shelfs etc. but I have had some great nights there so if you dont mind hard seats and a cramped but friendly pub...get down. I would say a pub of character not to miss and they let dogs in the bar
