Great staff and amazing fish and chips

Fish was lovely, and cooked to order. I thought 3 quid for a portion of takeaway chips was a bit steep though.

Busy Bees has become our regular Friday fish night place. Or plaice!The food is all cooked to order.It's tasty and reasonably priced.I'm sorry about the photo though, my camera skills won't win any prizes!

Lovely, tasty piece of cod with a generous portion of chips. Great to be greeted & served by friendly staff within a very clean establishment. My son highly rates their battered sausages and refuses them from anywhere else.

Called in on the 23rd October 2021.Haddock and Cod were £4.95.Out of Haddock, so two Cod were ordered.Takeaway wrapped in a polystyrene box and paper.Very Nice. Cooked in oil I believe.I should have tried the Busy Bees small fish and chips at six quid. Oh well, maybe next time.

Been two weeks on trot 6.15 first week told they had washed down so would not serve us the sacond week went at 6.39 told they only had chips they are supposed to be open till 7pm so surley washing down should be done then. We live here permenantly do they not think people who have purchased all year round dont eat after tourists go home. Totally disappointed

Appears to be a nice place, well looked after, however, missing a level of customer service which should be present. I’m assuming that there is a level of customers who do not coming from the local area and would be unaware that there are two separate areas for takeaway and eating in, not very clear when entering and the staff failed to ask a basic question, would we like to eat in or take out, think it’s simple really and most customers are never offend by the question, will I never have been. So I walk down to the restaurant section and then my husband follows to then be told after paying that there is an additional charge for eating in! Ok, think it would be say around £2 but no wait it was nearly £5 extra on top of the £14 already paid! Husband stood his ground and said no to the extra payment collected our food and left, the extra charge was to clean tables, electric, dishwasher usage, water costs etc. We all know these are within a business and the costs are normally added on to the price of goods but to break it down well what can I say! We sat by the sea and ate in the end.

Haddock cooked so well that it was as good as cod. My daughter says that the chicken nuggets are better than McDonald's (which is the best praise possible). The friendly staff gave me a number so that I could wait outside whilst my order cooked and called me in when it was ready. At all times, I felt like my safety during a pandemic was taken into account throughout my visit. They are a stone's throw from the sea front and beautiful garden lies next door for you to eat your meal in peace.

Sorry to say 1 star.. When your starving you'd enjoy anything...(and we were).. Only ordered cheesy chips x2, took ages but thought be nice atleast. I can honestly say they were awful, soggy watery chips (from a large frozen bag) with tasteless cheese and for £8.10..other customers sat by us also agreeing, will 100% not be going there again.

One of the best fish and chip portions I've had in a while! The chips were so soft and tasty! The battered sausage was beautiful and my wife had fish which was equally as nice! It had a good mix of salt and vinegar and I would recommend to all! The 2 guys on shift were very polite and the inside was so clean and tidy in these covid times! If you call in once to try it you will not be disappointed.
