China City in East Riding of Yorkshire

This restaurant always gets favourable reviews. Long time since we have eaten there (or anywhere else since covid). However, we are generally put off by the depressing look of the restaurant. It needs brightening up outside.

Food was absolutely amazing, second to non, definitely be eating from there again ☺️

Ordered last night me and two of my kids who ate the food have been throwing up and stomachs are aching wouldn't Oder from here again first time definitely the last

I live in bridlington eaten for here quite alot but tonight was absolutely 5 star food don't no if they changed the chef or what but really enjoyed it definitely worth a try 😀

First time I have eaten here, it won't be the last. Great food, great service good value. Nothing to complain about.

Ordered a takeaway for collection, food was excellent, plenty of it and freshly cooked with friendly service. Will be going back and would recommend.

Visited recently whole on holiday. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely be visiting again when over there again.

Don't let the look of the place put you off......Respectfully, the place needs a bit of an update but other than that it's all good.Friendly welcome by the waitress, food came promptly, was hot and very tasty!If your looking for a good Chinese meal with no frills then China City is recommended.

Arrived towards the end of the evening for indoor dining, waiter at first seem disappointed we were there as he seemed hopeful of closing early. He warmed up though to the task of serving customers, starters and main ordered, food arrived hot and tasty, would happily visit again

This used to be the best Chinese in Bridlington, have been using it for over 25 years but ever since it changed hands it has not been the same. The last 3 orders have had issues e.g poor quality food, missing part of order and delivering it to my house when I was trying to collect it. I think the cause of the issue is a very young front of house who struggle to understand the concept of customer service and how to apply it, bearing in mind this is restaurant priced take away. I gave the staff the opportunity to remedy this issue before leaving a negative review so the fact I've left it speaks volumes.
