Cottingham Tandoori in East Riding of Yorkshire

First time been here, food and staff brilliant, would have been 5 star but had a long wait. Will definitely go again.

Ordered food and waited in car for 20 mins. Went back in and they'd forgot!!!! Bad service Won't be going back, will stick to the one on cott Road., need to switch on.

Collected food and got back to holiday home to find a meal, sides and drink missing. They delivered it about 30 mins later but meant we ate separately. Food was nice.

Absolutely stunning Indian food. We have had takeaways from Cottingham Tandoori twice now, both meals were delicious. The meat is so tender, the curries flavorful, the service fast and friendly. Highly highly recommended. We will be eating here again and again and again.

They rush and forget things from your order, only noticed when I got home. They would not do a fresh order. Only replace what was missing. So by the time we got the missing rice, our chips, garlic naan and two curries where cold. We did try to keep warm in the oven but that just ruined the chips.They did send out a naan with the rice maybe as an apology, but that and the rice seemed old and stale, naan solid and would hardly tear apart, rice was dry and in hard lumps.If I could leave a ‘0’ star review then I absolutely would. Food was cold and inedible. This place should be able to deal with a busy takeaway and give good food & customer service.Would not recommend!!

We were in a holiday lodge and ordered by phone. Lovely person on the phone :) we ordered and it was hot and so so so lovely I had to ring and tell them we loved it so much. We don’t get that in Sheffield! Thank you for the amazing Customer Service and the Beautiful food!! Lily & Chris

Really disappointed with the service from the start. Poppadoms were thrown on the table. Drinks order incorrectly taken. Starters also incorrect. The korma and vindaloo were both tasteless. The main thing was the service and the annoyance we seemed to caused being there. We left half way through the main as fed up of it. On a rare date night we was not expecting to treated like this. We have previously been with no problem so very disappointed.

Was the food good? It was average. Was it worth the 2 hours and 15 minute wait? For cold food? No! If they can not cope with the amount of orders then say no. There are other take aways in the area which will be a preferred option in the future.

Nice curry house run by nice people. Passed the important test of; if you order 5 or 6 different currys do they all look & taste different?The answer from here is yes!Their curries are really tasty, match what they say on the menu and are great quality. As with any place, delivery can be slow at the weekend so make sure you pick up.
