Dawaat Indian Restaurant in East Riding of Yorkshire

3 of us called in on 10/06/2022. Given a warm welcome immediately seated. Waiter very efficient and freindly. Food came promptly, was freshly cooked to order, very well presented, and dammed tasty. Cant fault anything. Highly recommended.

Says on menu open till 11:30pm so rang at 10pm and ordered food. Food arrived with note stuck inside of bag! All you had to say was you were closed instead of taking order but you may want to change your menus and state 10pm on it as clearly it doesn’t. Won’t be ordering again as food was Luke warm and chicken was dry. Over priced and over rated.

Love this restaurant! Food is amazing, and so is the service. All the staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for you. Definitely recommended.

We are avid users or the restaurant especially the takeaway during COVID, that said tonight when our food arrived we were very disappointed.My wife ordered garlic chicken takeaway starter, this had the appearance of and tasted like soggy garlic chicken.The lamb vindaloo was not very spicy and was below their normal standard.We will have to have another sit down meal at the restaurant to see if this is to be the new standard.

We go here once a month with another couple. It's only a 5 minute walk so we are able to have a bottle of wine with our meal. Amin always has this ready for us and makes us feel very special. The food is excellent & the service is friendly & efficient. We really missed our visits during the lockdown.

Went here a couple of years ago (think it was a different name) and it was lovely, we were a large party and service was good. But we went 2 weeks ago and it was awful. We were the 2nd couple in and it took an hour to get food. When it came it was plain and tasteless, the window where we were sat was about to fall in and drafty! And then the bill came to £60! Ridiculous

Service was a little slow due to staff shortage which they apologized for. However, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. A nice touch was a free drink at the end of the meal. Altogether a nice meal out for my wife's birthday.
