Used to be really good for getting vegan pub grub but since they've removed them from their new menu. Wont be coming for food now

Attended a wake and it’s an excellent venue. Good parking. Staff were friendly and professional. Stayed for a drink in the bar after the funeral party departed. Nice to see a busy pub. Highly recommended.

What can I say…..As a hospitality professional of over 16 years I was totally blown away with the pre service with Victoria and the service on the day by Lydia. You hosted my husbands surprise leaving party (he is in the RAF and being deployed for 4 months next week) and you looked after the large group of us excellently.Nothing was too much trouble, Lydia was constantly available and present. Glasses and plates cleared pretty much instantly, all with smiles. The pub was really busy but the staff were utterly smashing it.Drinks & menu selection was fabulous, I am currently not drinking and your no alcohol selection was fabulous too.Victoria even popped over when she returned to check we’d had a great time (I left 4 balloons for her children)We live in The Cotswolds but visit our family at least every other month and after this exceptional visit we’ll be there more.We plan to move up to Yorkshire within the next 2 years and fingers crossed we will hopefully end up in North Ferribly with what I think would be the best local ever!Thank you very much, especially to Lydia.

Would normally have walked from the Humber Bridge first but the weather was dodgy. So skipped the exercise and went straight to the pub. In short, staff excellent, food and drink excellent. I had steak and my friend had the Sunday roast. Both came piping hot and the portions were a challenge. Becoming regulars now. Well done.

We booked the prosecco afternoon tea with a live saxophone player /singer for our Xmas party from work. We were not disappointed everyone had a fabulous time loads lovely sandwiches sausage rolls plus scones with cream and jam cup cakes 😋. Our prosecco glasses were kept well topped up and the live music was the icing on the cake. Everyone was up dancing will definitely book again thank you Victoria and staff 😊
