Great staff and food. The chap who gave it 1 out of 5 because the bed was uncomfortable and slept on the floor I reckon had a bad day...maybe his mum forgot to pack his toothbrush??

Best Sunday carvery we've had for a long time, the meat was exceptional, also everyone was great with our young son who didn't want anything to eat until the bloke behind the bar cheered him up

Stayed for 2 nights and was very pleased with the hotel, staff was friendly and accommodating, good prices for food and drinks, and the room was adequate for our needs.Only down side was the availability for the leisure facilities limited to on use per day within the availability

Worst bed I’ve ever laid on. I would say slept but it was so painful that I chose to sleep on the floor instead. I was in room 3 and the mattress was so flimsy I just sank right through it. In the end a make shift bed on the floor made from pillows was the only way to avoid the pain and discomfort.

We visited this pub during our holiday stay in Bessingby. The pub at the time of our visit wasn't serving food which was a real shame. The car park is huge so plenty of space to park. The pub is on the main road so easy to find. The gentleman who served us was friendly and they were happy for our little dog to be in the pub with us. We had a few drinks and a coffee. We would like to return in the future to sample the food.

Went for a meal for daughter's birthday whilst staying at Eden Park. Amazing food friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Had my wife's 60th party here last night and couldn't fault it. Friendly and helpful staff. The buffet was lovely and plenty of it. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stop over in the camper, good food and dog friendly, friendly staff and they also do full English breakfast for £15 for 2. Food is good value and tasty.It’s free to stop over in campervan, but please use the pub for at least a couple of drinks. As they are providing a great service for free. 👍

Stayed over in out camper here, it's free to do so but you have to buy meals and drinks thats the agreement, and I'm so glad it was because the home cooked food here is out of this world its the best I've had in along time. The owner and his family are great. It's a beautiful place and ill definitely be calling in again just for the food it was that good. Absolutely gem of a place
