How many staff does it take to ignore you ?. Good luck getting served, let alone even acknowledged. The girl on till having technical issues with a customers order on the till, fair enough, but to not be acknowledged whatsoever in any way during 10 minutes of standing there is a little rude. I've managed high street retailers over the last 25 years and in these situations you either - call another staff to help serve or give waiting customers some kind of apology or "sorry, we won't be long" etc explanation. Other members of staff were milling around that I'm sure could've come and helped, a guy came to assist her with the till, again totally ignored me. I have no problem waiting but being treat by multiple staff like you're not even there is outright rude.

Went for the Man Utd V Chelsea game last night. There was 4 of us and all ordered food. I had the ribs and they were great and all came hot. All the staff were great including Sam & Jack who were great behind the bar. Would definitely recommend for food & sport!

I feel bad putting 1 star, the food was amazing and the bar is really nice…. However, the barmaid / waitress, no idea what her problem is, maybe she’s just having a bad day, but ohh my word her attitude proper stinks. I didn’t dare ask her name, she is small with ginger hair, I’d advise waiting and speaking to someone else when ordering.

Place was good when it first opened. Standards have slipped.Men's toilets seem to always need maintenance.And if there's 3 staff behind the bar making a cocktail each, you will be waiting 15mins for a pint.

This place should be called the armpit. The decor needs some tlc and the kitchen needs to order some ingredients as a lot of dishes weren't available. The food didn't taste good and don't go to to the toilets as they stink.

The dark haired waitress served a lot of alcohol to my underage daughter. She doesn't even look older than her age so I don't know why identification wasnt required to prove her actual age of 15! This waitress was also very rude, I was disgusted by her attitude and the way she spoke

Upon coming I was really happy with the environment and the politeness of the staff, ran into an issue with my burger initially, but the owner/manager came out and personally sorted things out for me and came back 5 mins later to check it was all good, really gave the place a personal touch that goes a long way with customer satisfaction. As for the issue, very minor and it was a busy Mother’s Day so not a bad point at all.Will be coming again for certain. All staff are nice, approachable and great people, environment is a clean, well presented place, and to say the least, food was fantastic, quick, and high quality as promised.Thank you for the fantastic food, fantastic service and fantastic environment

Really disappointing. Looked just a bit grubby. None of the condiment trays on the tables were complete even though they were very quiet.Had half chicken and chips with jerk glaze. Chips were lovely and crispy. Couldn't taste the glaze on the chicken. The outside of the chicken was red hot but unfortunately and slightly worryingly it was cold in the middle. After ripping through it thought best to use the washroom to wash my hands. 3 soap dispensers. All empty. Really no excuse for that.Once the food had been delivered to table no staff member came anywhere near us to ask if everything was OK. Have to say I wouldn't return.

I think these guys did the best they could with short supplies. They had run out of a lot of things, but what my partner and I did eat was very tasty. Really nice cappuccino too! I loved the songs that were playing and if the restaurant had been more crowded, I'm sure the atmosphere would have been really joyful. Unfortunately the toilets were absolutely disgusting and in much need of a clean.

We loved the vibe and decor at this restaurant, very American cool. We both got the pulled pork burgers and sweet potato chips, it was lovely, really well cooked and was neither greasy or doused in salt like a lot of other burger places do. Will definitely go again next time we're in Beverley.
