Golden Haddock in East Riding of Yorkshire

Fantastic. We had lunchtime food there yesterday. My partner had small haddock chips and curry sauce ,I had medium cod chips and peas. It was literally spot on. I will definitely return next time we are nearby. The portions were good and scraps on top for free. Both fishes perfect with no skin or bone. All tasted immaculate. I would 100 percent recommend this place.

All the family rated the fish and chips very highly. The batter is gorgeous and the haddock perfectly cooked. Would recommend.

The fish and chips were dripping with grease making them hardly edible. The staff was nice and you didn’t have to wait long but the food was horrible.

We are currently visiting Withernsea for a short family half term break. Just had a late tea from the Golden Haddock & definitely not a disappointment. The restaurant is absolutely immaculate, the staff were friendly & everything was cooked fresh to order. Let me tell you, when it comes to fish & chips this is as good as it gets. 10/10 from us, keep up the good work guys 👌🏼😁

I live in Withernsea and consider this the best quality fish and chips in the area. Good service, decent portions and quality food. The menu is not huge and as the name suggests, haddock is the only fish available. Good hygiene rating of 5/5. Recommended.

We went to the deep at Hull for my wife’s 58th birthday come out of there and fancied some fish and chip from coast so we decided to drive to Withernsea and get some and wow!! It was worth the drive and effort lovely fresh fish nice chips and a nice size piece of fish no complaints from either of us

Great haddock and chips, freshly cooked, crispy batter. No large fish when we visited but the medium were good enough.Then only a 2-3 minute stroll to the seafront to eat them! Recommended.

Heard on Humberside Radio the Norwegians were cutting us off from our Haddock supply, so called into Withensea, and ordered large haddock and chips, the HADDOCK was nearly foot long, got home , and enjoying my chippy tea 🍵 , excellent traditional fish Nd chipps
