Came from Nafferton went here because it had hygien rating of 5 . Food tasty and plentiful good value for money fast service

Great range of dishes available to suit every taste including a small english section. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The food is cooked to perfection and reasonably priced

Don't know what's happened to this place but tonights order was terrible. Everything was just bland with no flavour or dry.Real shame as this used to be nice.Let's just hope it's a one off.

Ordered a Chinese. Asked for a specific dish and agreed to collect my order , my partner got home with our order and the there was a dish missing , I telephoned them and they dint care all they said was we read the order out and if you want it come and collect. Poor customer service they did not care and it spoiled our evening. Main course missing ! Won’t be going back.

We ordered several dishes for a family meal and it was really nice. Crunchy veggies, fluffy rice, amazing samosas and even got some complimentary prawn crackers. Decent portions, well priced and we really enjoyed it.

New to the area and quite like a Chinese. Heaven help the residents of Driffield if this is considered a good example.Sauces greatly over salted and the chicken and pineapple had a radioactive orange hue to it.Prawn crackers stale too… 2 Chinese takeaways down 1 to go!

Ordered the first time when I had visitors, we were all impressed with the service and the standard of the food, delivered piping hot at the time advised when we ordered.Good value for money, and now my go to place when I fancy a takeaway.Sue H

Golden River has been totally turned around, from Poor to Excellent!The staff are cheerful, friendly, helpful and professional - as the business now seems to be. The food is marvelous, full of FRESH, high quality ingredients rather than bulked up with cheap fillers - and the quantities are more than generous.As with the majority of Chinese takeaways, the Spare Ribs are a bit skinny (sauce is good) but dishes such as Beef with Satay Sauce, King Prawn with Tomato Sauce and Chicken with Lemon Sauce cannot be faulted.On top of this, the prices are very reasonable, too.

OK as far as it goes. Food average (Singapore noodles pretty good), but on quite a few previous visits my food was late by a long time. Staff couldn't give a toss and had obviously bumped my order for others.
