King's Head in East Riding of Yorkshire

Nice place to hang with friends and family.I have Sunday roasted, it's a bit long waiting on that they after got drink (nearly 20 minutes). There are a generous portion. I think the taste of both roasted were a bit salty. Risotto's taste was fine but it too sticky. However, the overall was fine 🙂.

The service is on time, polite, friendly staff, the food is amazing. Nothing was to much hassle, my son has allergies, an allergy menu qas brought to me and made sure everything was OK and catered to his needs.Myself and husband had a pizza, margarita and pepperoni and they were cooked to perfection. It was tasty, great texture and was amazing. Sam the pizza chef had cooked the pizzas and they are to die for.

Had an overnight stay here, all the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient, really made us feel welcome. Our room was nicely decorated with a large, comfy bed, great shower and good refreshment selection with some nice extras. The room was on the whole clean but a little dusty in places, only came across it when pulling the bedside tables forward mind you to plug the chargers in. Added bonus of free parking on site.We had drinks before going out for a meal, great selection on the drinks menu and the food menu looked excellent. With 20% off for hotel guests we will eat in the next time we stay. Breakfast was hot and tasty served in a lovely dining area. All in all a great stay, Beverley isn't far from where we live but it was a nice change of scenery. Thanks to all at The Kings Head.

There's a common theme with this place and has been for the past, 10/12 years I've occasionally popped in? Toilets were rank. Always stinks! For a place that's trying to sell itself as high end, I've been in more pleasant public toilets. The drinks were good and the place was steady, dunno if I'll be rushing back though.

Booked on line and then had to amend the booking. This was really easy to do with your on line system. All staff were really helpful and welcoming and explained everything clearly. The food was great and we were well looked after. Staff were attentive but not intrusive.

Food was great, staff were lovely but there was a lot of time waiting. We arrived for our table at 1:10pm which was 5 mins early. It took approx 30 mins to get our drinks and then food wasn’t served u til 2:15pm. We then waited a long time after finishing our main to order our dessert which was at about 3:20pm. Ended up spending all afternoon waiting it felt like which was in a lovely setting and the staff were great but giving honest feedback it was along time when we expected to be in and out before 3pm

The food was absolutely outstanding, I had the risotto which was delicious, and the rest of my family said the calamari, triple cooked chips, and ham and pea pie were beautifully cooked - the portion sizes were excellent as well. Kathryn was very helpful and really friendly and gave us 10/10 service.

Great room, fantastic drinks and breakfast was spot on. Central location right in the middle of Beverley. Free car parking too. Cora, our host, was so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return. Good value for money too. Loved our stay

Had lunch here today, were informed it was a thirty minute wait for food, it took forty five, my sausage and mash was hot but mash was lumpy and sausages were very chewy and gravy was just coloured water (no taste). Don't know why the wait was so long as it wasn't the staff cleaning the three empty tables by us. Would have been better off going to one of the many cafés in the town.

Lovely lunch here for my birthday. Gluten free options for my wife 👍 Nice choice of wines to wash down my favourite meal - sausages and mash.... I can't resist them 😁
