Kings Head Pub in East Riding of Yorkshire

Absolutely loved staying here! From the very moment we checked in we found all the staff to be very attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lucy and her colleague (chap at reception who's name I didn't catch sorry) were particularly lovely, helpful and extremely professional, especially when having to deal with 2 very difficult (rude) customers who really deserved to be extracted from the premises. Lucy and Co remained attentive and calm (not sure I could have!). The room was clean, warm and spacious and we loved the design. Bed was comfy despite my bad back and facilities were superb with a choice of tea/coffee, bottled water, a coffee machine, biscuits and even posh nuts all! Quiet room despite being over the bar (music very low volume) although activity in the square started early on Monday morning though wasn't a problem for us. Car parked on site so always a bonus. Cooked breakfast was delicious, hot, made with good quality ingredients and plenty of it including additional continental spread. Evening meal was superb and definitely value for money and the restaurant area is very attractive and comfortable with a nice atmosphere. Overall excellent experience for my daughter and I and we will absolutely stay again soon! The free drinks tokens for my birthday was such a lovely touch too! Thanks guys, A *****

A nicely decorated pub but mostly an eating venue now. The food was perfectly nice, but very overpriced. Beer was fine but also expensive. Staff were attentive and polite. Not my sort of establishment to be honest, I wouldn't return. I prefer proper pubs where the emphasis is on drinking, not eating.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. We were greeted by incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent directions to the car park. Happy to allowed us to leave our car while we went wandering before check in and after check out. The whole experience from check in, bar staff in the evening, room, breakfast and check out was excellent. No complaints or faults at all. Room was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, well cooked, great quality produce and speedy! Staff were attentive, offering top ups of our coffee. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying your menu! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Spacious seating areas with private booths and outdoor beer garden. Good selection on the menu however it took 3 attempts to find one that was available so maybe check what they have run out of before choosing! Food was tasty when it arrived. Also good selection of drinks including popular cocktails but as there seemed to be a lot of new staff they struggled to know how to make them and they differed from one round to another which was quite disappointing. Staff were helpful and friendly just somewhat inexperienced but that's fine as we all have to learn. Training beforehand would help as no one wants to pay full price for drinks that are not right

Staff were attentive and dealt with us promptly. Drinks and food was served without delay. Sunday lunch was excellent. Portion was ideal plenty of veg and beef was substantial and very tender. Price was slightly high but this could have been due to Easter.

Nice place to hang with friends and family.I have Sunday roasted, it's a bit long waiting on that they after got drink (nearly 20 minutes). There are a generous portion. I think the taste of both roasted were a bit salty. Risotto's taste was fine but it too sticky. However, the overall was fine 🙂.

Lovely place with fantastic rooms and breakfast. Staff is what makes this place special. We were staying for a friends wedding and they made us feel incredibly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond! I dropped an earring behind the sink and to retrieve it they needed to remove the skirting boards. Didn’t think they’d bother doing that but they posted it the day later. This place is what hospitality should be all about. Thank you Kings Head , you are amazing <3

We stayed dinner, bed and Breakfast. The staff were all amazing, from the welcome we received, the information we were given and the room was lovely and clean and so spacious. The meal in the restaurant was beautiful, so was the Breakfast and the service was faultless. What an amazing team. We are home now but plan to return with friends. Thank you.

Had an overnight stay here, all the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient, really made us feel welcome. Our room was nicely decorated with a large, comfy bed, great shower and good refreshment selection with some nice extras. The room was on the whole clean but a little dusty in places, only came across it when pulling the bedside tables forward mind you to plug the chargers in. Added bonus of free parking on site.We had drinks before going out for a meal, great selection on the drinks menu and the food menu looked excellent. With 20% off for hotel guests we will eat in the next time we stay. Breakfast was hot and tasty served in a lovely dining area. All in all a great stay, Beverley isn't far from where we live but it was a nice change of scenery. Thanks to all at The Kings Head.

Great room, fantastic drinks and breakfast was spot on. Central location right in the middle of Beverley. Free car parking too. Cora, our host, was so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return. Good value for money too. Loved our stay
