The farm shop itself it lovely and well stocked with high end luxury food. The cafe find is good but expensive. It let's itself down with some of the staff who are just miserable and unwelcoming which last visit upset us and made us feel like an inconvenience. Its a shame as some of the cafe people are really pleasant but let down by the sullen attitude of the others. For that reason we won't be going back.

We visited the Farm Shop yesterday by chance as we only noticed it when driving past. What a great shop! Really good selection of jams, chutneys and relishes, fabulous cakes, local free range eggs and meat/ cheese counters with locally produced goods. We bought a Steak and Ale and pie which we've just had for dinner and it was, quite simply, the best pie we've ever had. Absolutely scrumptious, delicious pastry and packed with tender, tasty beef. Not cheap but, goodness, do you get what you've paid for - and more! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic food but service not brilliant, plenty of staff 'hanging around', plus extremely cold inside most people had coats on or blankets provided but after 2 blankets each we were still cold. Such a shame ...heating really needs to be addressed.

Went there for lunch today, the chicken was not cooked! Had a funny taste to it I then cut into the middle of the chicken which was very pink! Told a member of staff they took it back to the kitchen to which they came back out and tried to tell me it was the marinade which gave it a pink a colour ( trying to pull the wool over my eyes will not work, the chicken would not go a pinker colour as you get into the middle if it was the marinade). I was then very ill this afternoon. I will never be going back there again as it is simply not worth the risk.

Good selection of groceries from local suppliers and specialists. Can get busy sometimes. Not the cheapest but good quality, recommend meat, deli, and baked products. Has a good restaurant on site as well.

Dropped in today for some lunch with 2 of my kids. We were greeted immediately and felt welcomed. Sat down quickly and talked through the menu. The food came quickly too and was amazing. Both my kids had the vegan breakfast wrap and I had mushrooms and egg on toast. Utterly sublime and my kids loved theirs. Simple but very well done and great tasting. I use this place regularly for food shopping but hadn’t eaten here as yet. Wish I had.Great food. Helpful, friendly and happy staff. Highly recommend this place. Will be going back. Good place to take folk too as you know it’ll be spot on.

Lovely range of delicious farm shop foods, meats, local gins and wines and baked goods including gluten free delicacies! Always a pleasure, although a tad pricey! 😉
