Ladygate Tandoori in East Riding of Yorkshire

First time we have ordered from here in a while due to be disappointed in the food, however tonight i was impressed, the food was hot on arrival, the delivery was fast and it was really tasty, they have definitely uped there game, we will start using this Indian again rather then looking elsewhere🙂

Not unpleasant. Just insipid. Watery sauce with halved tomatoes does not make a rogan josh. Won't be rushing back.

First and last with this. I selected medium Dopiaza which was watery and tasteless even to my 'korma only' husband. We both had upset stomachs afterwards. I'm very surprised how bad it was. However the portions were large with lots of meat otherwise I would have scored it a 1.

6/11/21 Update.I have increased my score and updated this review as in looking for a tandoori meal a pizza for the kids I thought I'd give the place another try after all this time and...It was good! Had delivery so still not sure about the state of the place but ignorance is bliss and the food tasted good. Thank you Ladygate Tandoori for a decent feed.Not eaten here for a while for a reason, thought we would give it a try again but I now remember why I've no idea how people eat here. Grotty inside but thankfully didn't have to witness my food been cooked turned up though and it looked like it had been pulled out of a bin. Awful, chicken looked about a year old too. Had to order elsewhere as a replacement.

We use ladygate tandoori sometimes as we live in a village a few miles outside Beverley and not all takeaways deliver to our village. But tonight was not the best.Delivered before time was said which was good?.I ordered beef Madras, sauce very watery and about 5 pieces of beef of which 2 I couldn't even get my fork into ( obviously yesterday's)Shame as we'd use them alot if food was good and consistent.

I've had bad Donner meat and then I had your Donner meat. My measure of bad has dropped significantly. It was truly the worst food I've ever tasted, two bites and it's gone into the bin. Not even the mice will dare nibble into it. Yuk yuk yuk

Would give 0 stars if I could.Years of using this takeaway as a family and the last three orders have all had something missing each time. Ring up to complain and it sounds such a massive effort to rectify their mistakes, no apologies just a grunt. Disgusted and disappointed!Will not be using this takeaway again and would definitly not reccomend.

Regular customer of these guys. Never had a bad meal yet decent portions and always delivered fast! Can’t fault

Sorry to say that I am extremely disappointed. Giving a bad review does not come easily. I am visiting the area and found this takeaway online. After a 20 minute journey I ordered a Large Doner Kebab costing £5.40. I specifically asked if it came with salad? Yes it did along with chilli sauce. Service was rapid, less than 1 minute. Great at the time, however, is this enough time to prepare the order from fresh? Maybe not. After another 20 Minute drive to where I am staying I opened the order and found plenty of meat but no salad. I immediately called the takeaway and explained the problem. I was offered a free Kebad next time. I think that I will decline the offer. The kebab was not good. It was swimming in a pool of horrendous grease. Not good.

Wow this takeaway rocks ! We selected a range of dishes off the menu as we all wanted something different from curry’s to kebabs and non disappointed all. They was fresh and still hot when they arrived, delicious! this will certainly be a regular takeaway for us now.
