Lighthouse Fisheries in East Riding of Yorkshire

Our daughter treated us to fish bits (which we asked for) and chips. The chips were done perfectly not greasy at all. The fish bits melted in your mouth. They were absolutely gorgeous. The amount of chips and fish bits we got were just too much to be honest. We couldn’t finish all the meal. You really do get your money’s worth.I think we will give the curry sauce a try next time we are in Flamborough and get fish and chips from Lighthouse Fisheries.

We loved this friendly place on the High Street. Brilliant selection of vegan and vegetarian options alongside the more traditional fish and chips. Best chips we had all holiday! - and a real quality feel to everything, including the branding and shop itself.

We visited once before for a quick pit stop to share some chips in the garden area out the back and I posted a review then saying how lovely it was. but…… we had fish and chips for our last night in Flamborough, before we travelled home and WOW WOW WOW. The best fish and chips I have ever tasted, I would gladly travel the 2 hours from home just to eat here. All the staff are so friendly as well. If you are in Flamborough then make this a must have before you go!!

Called in at lunch time today and got fish bites and chips. Very nice well cooked and tasted lovely. Added bonus is that there is an area at the back of the shop to sit and eat them. Well worth the visit, if in the area again would not hesitate to return. Lady who served us was very nice 👍

We've just been on a long weekend break in Flamborough and found this little gem. The food is very good and reasonably priced, so good we went back again. The triple cooked chips are delicious and unlike a lot of places, they don't leave a greasy after taste.You can also order and pay online too!If we go back to the area we'd definitely use again.

Looked nice and clean. I thought the portion size was just right. Fish cooked to order so nice and fresh. Chips whilst oily on the outside were a bit dry on the inside. I know I'm been fussy but chips are my thing! A bit pricey but don't mind if the food is great. Nice outdoor eating area both under cover and not. I'd recommend.

Excellent food, great service and really smart decor. Been living in London for 20 years and tried so many chippies there, this place tops them all. Will definitely be returning.

The haddock was pretty good and the large seemed more reasonably priced over a standard size. The chips were okay not all perfect, but then what fish and chips ever are. We were disillusioned into believing there was a restaurant here, (but the reason for that is trusting other reviewers as they clearly have it wrong according to the owner and yes the website doesn't mention a restaurant). However, you can once you've purchased something eat out the back either under cover in the open, but not recommended on a chilly evening. We actually decided to go eat them over looking the sea. Oh when we opened the box about 5 to 10 minutes later they were still pretty hot, as in like fresh out the fryer hot.***Edited***

Yummy fish and chips. Lovely staff who were very patient with everyone who turned up at 5:50(they closed at 6pm) but worked through the queue. My pet peeve with UK fish and chips are that the chips are never cooked enough. Not here they are banging! Happy with the price and portion size 😁
