Nags Head in East Riding of Yorkshire

Great place. Arrived minutes before end of food service. Only place around open for food on a Tuesday. Staff were more than happy to accommodate us ( party of four). Excellent food & great selection of ales tickle your taste buds. Excellent friendly staff & excellent service. Would I recommend. DEFINITELY.

We arrived without booking at The Nags Head - it’s been years since we have last visited.The service we received from Graeme for drinks and food was first class and couldn’t fault it at allWe also had some food and found this to be excellent also - it would seem the new manager Rich is going to make this place the venue it deserves to be.

Visited here today with the family for Fathers Day.We were a table of six with one toddler.Great atmosphere, very attentive staff.The place was clean and very tidy, all tables cleared quickly as guests left.Our waitress was Michaela, lovely lady, very friendly and helpful.We had the carvery, served up by Paddy, what a star, chatty and cheerful, without being intrusive.We had a great time, food was hot, tasty and plentiful, what more could you ask for ?Would definitely return here again and very happy to recommend to friends and family.As a final note, the toilets were very clean 👍Well done Nags Head, see you again soon.Plenty of parking spaces.

We have been coming here for a good 8 years or so!Food is always fantastic, 2 for 1 offers on all meals including the specials.Service with a smile, staff are extremely welcoming. Michaela usually serves us and is very chatty and lovely.Would recommend to anyone.

We called on a quiet summer Sunday evening. The bar was welcoming and the staff friendly. There was a reasonably lengthy wait for the food - about 40 minutes - but that wasn't really an issue. The food was very nice. Our only observation would be the menu was a bit limited for vegetarians. But there were a couple of dishes so again, no major concerns. Handily located if you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks. We sure to return soon.

Had an impromptu Sunday carvery here, top notch!! Roast was cooked well, nice selection of veg, all while being served by polite friendly waitresses and bar staff..Recommended!!Only gave 4 stars because I felt the company (Marstons) could do with updating the decor to meet the management's efforts.

Stayed in The Nags Head very big car park, a Motorhomes dream very quiet lovely spot,Had a very nice meal, desert and nice drink,The staff very warm and welcome , ps good night sleep 💤

I’ve already left a trip advisor review expressing my appreciation of an excellent Sunday lunch. Excellent service by all staff. What an improvement on our last visit, not in service but in quality of food. Will be back

I was pleased that they allowed my dog into the pub. It is a nice walk up to Nags Head from where I live and now that they have accepted to let us in I shall be going more regularly. The girl who served us was fabulous, very friendly and helpful.

East Yorkshire Lotus Owners Club. We recently moved from our regular venue for our monthly meets to the Nags Head at Routh. It has been a positive move due to the excellent service provided by Chris and Karen and their staff. We had our Christmas dinner there last Saturday and everyone who attended said that it was the best Christmas get together we have ever had. A great venue, staff that can not do enough to ensure you have a great time. Thank you Chris, Karen and Staff
