Railway Inn Restaurant in East Riding of Yorkshire

Second time we have eaten here and both times the food was excellent. Very quick service even when busy, staff very friendly. I would recommend the fish and chips they were probably the best pub fish and chips I have had. Definitely will be back next time we are in the area.

We really enjoyed our time and lunch here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a good selection on the menu including vegetarian dishes. My father in law, who is 98, was with us and he highly rated the meal and was impressed with the service. The food was very well cooked and presented. I would highly recommend the Railway Inn for a great meal in a great location and atmosphere.

Lovely place, great food. Had steak salad and my cousin had dressed crab salad. It was gorgeous as were our lime and sodas.

Family day out on mother's day. So a little crowded but expected. Great food and plenty of it. Mine had gone slightly cold but again, probably due to the amount of people in, staff were weaving in and out. Plenty of parking and great food, we will return as it's one of our favourite places. Had family sunday lunch here today. We had amazing homemade food, friendly and welcoming staff that couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend visiting here to enjoy great food.

Went on Sunday was served by the owner far too busy in what was going on around her. Than providing any type of good customer service. Even to the point of taking our order wrong so was clearly overcharged. However we have been a few times and staff and food is always excellent.

We stayed the night here on 19th February, lovely friendly staff from the minute we walked in, bags carried up to our room, asked if they could book a taxi as we were meeting family elsewhere after trying unsuccessfully they offered to pick us up if we could get there. Breakfast was superb if we are in the area again we will be back.

We had a big family lunch yesterday 10 adults and 2 children the service was second to none. Friendly and helpful. All the meals arrived together and lovely and hot. A big hats off to the crew who took the time and effort to look after us.

We would thoroughly recommend The Railway Inn to anybody. We called in as we were passing and were met by kind staff who really seemed to care that we had a good experience. The food we had was delicious and there was a great range of options on the menu. Thank you for a really enjoyable meal.

Honestly feel like the quality of food hasn't been great the last few times I have been. Its not bad by any standard but Sunday dinner portions can be a bit stingy and the cuts of meat aren't as well cooked and flavoursome as I recall. The staff though are lovely and cannot fault the service. Last time I was there I had been given dirty cutlery that had clearly been through a dishwasher without a good clean.
