We stopped on our way home from Brid, we were both ravenous, the food was the best we've had in a while. Home cooked, good portions and very reasonable price. You won't be disappointed if you stop by for food!

What a lovely place! We had Sunday lunch there. The staff was very welcoming, the place had a lovely atmosphere. The food was superb. There were 7 of us including 3 children, the youngest one quite fussy about food. We all gorged on the food, payed a very reasonable price and all skipped dinner. We will visit again.Thank you for your hospitality.

Went here for Sunday Lunch. I was not disappointed the food was really nice and great portion size too. Had the beef dinner and my husband had the lasagne, even had a pudding. We will definitely be going back and recommending it everyone. Also the staff are friendly & happy.

Fantastic food and drink, came for a visit for a few days and the pub was warm and friendly to even passers by. I felt like I was in my own local. Lovely staff. Thanks for our steak pie is was the best we've ever had! We be back again to visit in the future.

The best steak pie I've ever had! To me it was better than award winning pies in the region. Lean, tender and tasty meat in a delicious pastry. The portions are massive - you get far more than you can eat - lots of fresh veg, crispy roast potatoes, creamy mash. Proper gravy. And mains are so cheap!! The puddings are really yummy as well. Service is excellent - lovely young people. Nice, traditional pub. Really, really good. Definitely going again.

Good honest home cooked food, served by a very diligent and attentive member of staff. Reasonably priced, and good portion sizes. Not a place to go if your idea of good food is twiddly bits of food painted onto a plate. Beer is also excellent. I'll be going back.
