Excellent cheese scones and nice coffee. Well worth a visit. Very reasonable. Good choice of sandwiches salads and light lunches. Highly recommended

Usually excellent and have visited for years.Sunday brunch visit. Pleasantly busy and plenty of staff. Ordered A Trio of Sausages. Absolutely overcooked, dry and unpleasant. Very disappointing. My friend's full English was good though apparently. Shame!

Very busy and noisy. Food good, very generous portions, too much for me. I have difficulty with mobility so rather a long walk from road.

First class cafe. Inside outside dining. Very dog friendly outside with waterbowls. Toilets immaculate, only toilets I've been to with fresheners in bowl, definitely a bonus. If going for lunch I would recommend reserving a table as it gets very busy at lunchtime. A very extensive menu with plenty of choices. I highly recommend this cafe

Tbh we really enjoyed our breakfast visit. Good quality sausage x 2 which is a real bonus. The reason they've lost 2 stars which I couldn't let slide ,is they advertised black pudding on the breakfast and it was missing.. So we had 4 BP missing, they should have told us when ordering but didn't, so I got up and asked the waitress 'we've ran out' she says I waited for more words but they never came so sat down and ate my short changed breakfast before it went cold. There was no reduction in cost , no offer of an alternative replacement or anything It's false advertising if you don't inform the customer and not supply anything in return. Everything else good but that is not an easy forgivable mistake.

Visited Sails halfway round a 10 mile walk. A lovely stop off for a spot of lunch. Excellent value for money and attentive service. We didn't have cakes but they looked fantastic. We ate indoors as it was rather chilly but the courtyard looks a lovely spot on a warmer day.

Food is tasty, and the cakes fabulous ( but a little pricey). We pop in every few weeks, but check if you can get an inside table, unless it's warm and dry.

Stopped here after a really great scenic walk and even though the weather was miserable the cafe was very nice with friendly staff. We had some fantastic freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam.

I have been a customer of Sails Café for many years and every visit has been faultless. I reserved some tables for my wedding reception and the team were absolutely fantastic as always. They're extremely efficient and very friendly. The food was delicious and the staff did well getting the food out on time as there were lots of us to cater for, all at once. Thank you all for going above and beyond and making my day that bit more special.
