Speedy Peppers in East Riding of Yorkshire

Our first visit to Speedy Peppers so weren't sure what to expect.It was the end of a busy day, no time to cook. We fancied pizza, one of us fancied a chicken burger. We Googled the reviews and Speedy Peppers came out well.The shop was quiet, so the order was placed quickly. The pizzas and burger were cooked fresh.Back at home, the chicken burger got a thumbs up. The pizzas were OK. Not outstanding but they hit the spot.

Got charged 50p to use our card, which is illegal. Apparently convenience charge 😂. Staff very rude, after giving us the food woman swore at us after we had said to her about charging on the card.

Speedy Peppers is normally THE best takeaway in Bridlington. However, we recently tried to purchase an order but was unfortunately greeted by such a disrespectful and rude woman. We placed our order ect.. when I asked the lady to repeat our order back to us, she put the phone down on us… when I tried to phone back, it was the same lady i questioned why she hung up, but then again she hung up again.. we tried to call back several times but they did not answer… we also tried to call back on a different number… what kind of customer service is this?????

Charged 50p for using a card and in this day and age its outrageous. We've been encouraged to use cards rather than money because of Covid but this business seems to have taken the opportunity to make more money out if their customers. Also ordered 2 cheese burgers wasn't told they came with chips so ordered extra chips on top, would have been good customer service to point out that the burgers came with chips. None of the staff wore gloves so all food handled with no cleanliness in mind. If you want to be ripped off and perhaps get Covid go here if not choose another place.

I gave three stars because usually they are prompt and the pizzas are always great, however, recently we attempted to order some food because we'd had a taxing day and no one felt like cooking... however, we were told that nobody was coming, after placing the order, because we were the only ones in our area who'd placed an order, which we all found ridiculous. Thankfully, we found someone who WAS happy to deliver some food.+ I will say this for them. The refund was sent immediately.26.11.21: my nan tried to order a takeaway from them too and also got told they wouldn't deliver, 20 minutes before it was supposed to arrive. Absolutely shocking and disgusting service.

5 star, absolutely gorgeous. Me and my husband travel from Doncaster just for a garlic bread. Never had one as nice and as cheap. Really lovely staff. Popping up soon for another takeaway date night in the car

0 stars. Tried before and thought it maybe a one off but horrible food strikes again. The pizzas are dreadful and the chips cold and anemic looking. Save your money and don't get your food from here. Only one saving grace, the Pepsi cola tasted good but they had no control over that. Speedy's 0 - Pepsi cola 1.

Tried charging me 50p for a card payment. When I refused and went to get £2 extra from my wife. They refused to serve me and gave me my money back. I've never come across such bad service in my life.

AVOID! Appaling takeaway! Food arrived cold and extremely late. Staff were very rude in regards to updating on the progress of the order. The small proportion of food that was consumed has resulted in violent vomiting. This poor service and unsafe standard of food will be reported to the relevant authorities.
