Great food, very friendly staff. Would certainly recommend a visit.

Not been here for over 20 years. Excellent pub, service and food.

Had a wake for friends aunt. It was in the outside stable area so very private. Tables and chairs were excellent so created a lovely atmosphere. Buffett was good with plenty of tea coffee and you could get drinks from the bar.

Visited The Star Inn and had a meal it was fantastic, I had the king prawns stir fry and the wife had the lasagna both meals were without doubt the best pub meals we have both had. Brilliant intend on going back soon.

Would have been given 5 stars, but I asked for the curry lunch and asked if it was rated 🔥, bar staff said it was mild, but it was a definate 3 chilli 🌶 madras.

Went to the Star last night for my husbands birthday on our way home from work, we didn't book and it was quite busy, however the 2 girls behind the bar went out of there way to accommodate us and eventually after fitting us in then moved us to a bigger space when someone moved. The food was excellent. The pie to die for and the chips were literally the best chips ever. We will definitely dine here again. 5 star rating for food and customer service

Very good home cooked food. A great choice and reasonably priced. Also a daily special board. Great service and friendly staff. Eaten here many times and it has always been good.

We have been local to this pub for over 30 years and have enjoyed drinks, bar meals and private celebrations in the Stables Restaurant regularly and latterly New Year's Day Brunch for many years. Hayley and her team are professional, polite and extremely pleasant to all customers and always welcome visitors warmly. The decor is attractive and an extensive menu is available for lunch and evening meals, with regular "Specials" and a reduced Tea -Time Flyer price 17.00pm to 19.00pm Monday to Friday. Sunday roasts are another tasty feature. Christmas Day and Boxing Day meals are a new addition. There is an exterior seating area and car parking on site. A very good venue in our neighbourhood.

Nice pub serving great food at a reasonable price. The braised steak and mash was delicious. Well kept ale. Friendly staff.
